Have to say i thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday, not just the win and the performance but also because for the first time in 3 seasons the dickhead who sits in front of me wasnt there, so good to watch a game at last without him berating every thing City do and every City player.

Well worth the money regardless of what anyone paid. Some paid more than others but nobody could say they were not given there monies worth.

My only grumble was that we made such hard work of it but it was ruddy well entertaining thats for sure.

Best game in a long time, great entertainment, positive game play and oh, the right result. Bet the bbc manage to get it down to under a minute though for the FLS! I always record it and watch it on Sun evening - good job seems I fell asleep 10 mins into MOTD last night.

Saw a liitle bit of the FLS last night and they analysed big Nicks goals in a little detail at the end of the NPC games for a change..

When Leroy is on, we get a mention after the highlights. When it's Steve, we are brushed over.

At least next week it will be extended highlights since its the Sky game.

I sit in the South Stand and it's full of people who just lambast all game; every ref decision is wrong, every sub is "oh well THAT'S the answer." in a sarky tone.

To be honest, there was a long period after they scored where nothing at all happened and it was a detritus. The overall result was great, especially given the manner in which we won was so similar to how we've lost games recently; but the fact is that we still fluffed the easy chances, we still got caught in possession and still made basic errors. Luckily Ipswich weren't good enough to capitalize.

And all of that never once passed my lips while I was sat in the KC. :D

I have never heard anyone use the word "detritus" at a football match
