We've been in Europe twice. We qualified for the EUFA when we finished 2nd to Liverpool in 75/6. From memory we got to the 4th round before losing in a penalty shootout to Cologne. Poor old Dave Webb missed the last penalty. Even in those days the Germans always won the penalty shoot outs! Stan Bowles scored a hatrick in both legs of the first round against Braan Bergen and maybe one in the next round. My God, we were a good side to watch in those days.

Playing those home matches at Highbury was all a bit surreal!

I do recall 1984 when we won at Highbury against Belgrad winning 6:2 and managed to go out with a 0:4 at their ground - utter disappointment. We had to play at Highbury because of our artificial pitch at that time. :(

I seem to get into banter with the Norwich fans and I notice that you have a good relationship with the Newcastle and Sunderland fans

Wrong, you wum on Norwich boards and no one likes you.

To real and decent QPR fans - This guys idea of banter is to constantly criticise our team and players. If you do not believe me just check our boards on here and 606, you will soon get the bigger picture.

Remember Andy, 1 more idiotic post on our board and you are history <ok>

Good, you will not be missed <ok>

What am I doing on this board? I like to talk about football. Any team, any league about anything, but mostly I came here to see what you write on here.
So far I have not seen much of any importance or in the slightest interesting - ho hum, shouldn't be too surprised.

I rest my case. Once again you have lived up to expectations. Luckily for you expectations are not very high
