Some lad called Wisdom, who's not a registered player in Fantasy Football, is starting in the Liverpool defence in place of Jose Enrique.

Now I know Rodgers isn't a man for relying on reputation (would probably play the tea lady ahead of Downing), but what has happened to Enrique?

Has he really gotten that bad? I know he was immense for the start of his Liverpool career, but it all seems to have nosedived after that.

On a side, they could have least given him a run out today in goal, with Reina injured...

He may actually be coming back. Heard from a very reputable source that we are signing one of Jonas' friends in January. Could be Enrique. Maybe

He's been injured, supposedly. Can't shake it. Form has been poor - Glen is very good at left back too.

Wisdom is also very promising. Nice situation to be in.

Think he was injured for a while so not sure if he's still struggling or whether the new lad has just been playing well enough to keep him out. From what I've seen Wisdom looks like he 's a decent prospect.

I'd take him back BUT he would need to prove himself in the reserves first (mainly to teach him a lesson for ****ing with us)

Jose will always be welcome here. Gave good service. Excellent full back who would improve us no end. No brainer given that and his relationship with the squad and fans. I can see it happening. Carroll might be a bit tricky but as he showed again yesterday he's an outstanding talent who is excellent for those around him.

No problem with either, not sure why people get so upset over transfers, all part of the game.

I do not believe he'll be back at all. Jonas's friend sounds like its going to be someone else, maybe Spaniard or Argie if your source is right. In any case, I think he's like their 4th choice fullback now unless the board throws money at them(uncharacteristically), I don't think they'll sell him

Not sure if you guys actually realise but he's had a few injuries, and is still not at full fitness.

Johnson has done a great job on the left and the young lad Wisdom is an excellent young RB. Jose came on towards the end of the Reading game and played very well, just needs time to get match fit and we'll have plenty of options for both full back positions.

The question is - Is it true that Brenden Rogers believes he doesn't play with enough passion? That's the rumour. I guess when he's 100% match fit and doesn't get his LB position back, that question might be answered.

Either way we'll be fine without him, but personally I'd keep him without question.

I've heard Liverpool fans slate him, which I think is harsh, especially as he's a good footballing full-back who would certainly fit in with Rodgers' style. I would take him back here, but I don't see it myself. He doesn't want to, other wise he wouldn't have been so disrespectful (or honest??) in the papers.

At present I think Rodgers has a brilliant set-up, purely because he can play the youngsters other managers have neglected and he'll be lauded whether the team are doing well enough or not, for the short-term. This is not a top 4 quality Liverpool side anymore and Rodgers will know any means of easing pressure on himself now will make long-term achievement much easier. It doesn't half help their youngsters are talented though(albeit very raw at present)!

I still think they'll finish above us and around 6th/7th/8th, but it's whether that's good enough for the board, even if they haven't put that much into the club yet.

    Good Post <ok>

I think Rodgers will be given time - The owners know it's a work in progress and will take a few years to blossom. I don't think they'll go down the Chelsea route of sacking managers left right and centre. I know they sacked Dalglish, but I pretty certain they'll have faith in Rodgers and give him time.

Some of the Liverpool youngsters look fantastic for their asge, especially - Sterling, Suso, and Wisdom.

It's clear we're not the force we once were, but I believe we're definitely heading in the right direction. I personally have a lot of faith in BR.

P.S. Unlucky you guys drew at Sunderland, even with 10 men you deserved the 3 points in my eyes. Collo was immense, reminds me so much of Agger, identical style of defender.

I have no problem with Jose.

He loved the fans and said so. He loved the city and said so. He loved the squad and said so.

He didn't love MA or DL and said so. He didn't love the transfer policy and said so. At the time he was saying this, over 90% of the supporters would have agreed with him. A lot of us have had to eat our words and Jose might hav to as well. I've never seen or heard anything from him, though, which made me think he didn't wish the club well - - just that he shared most of our reservations about the uppe management
