I dont think the game was boring, but I can see myself getting a bit angry if we simply pass it about in our half. We should be doing that in to opposition half. Also we have to try putting in more crosses from the wings. We were often running into a tightly packed midfield yesterday and not having any success. If we give it to FF he can run at defenders and cause havoc. I also thought that was the intention of playing two wing backs...

Both teams formations nullified each other, young FF is so fleet of foot if he can just find the net early on I think he will score a hat full. I know that GFZ like to hold onto possession but we need to do something with it, it's a bit like last year when there was no cutting edge, a spark that defence splitting pass we have the forwards who could thrive on it but we just lacked that cutting edge IMO Good to catch up with H again All in all not a bad performance but could do better and if we want to progress we must do better, but 3 points is 3 points

Cracking vid of the penalty Mex. With most views on here regarding the game. Really boring first half where we were not moving the ball quick enough which will happen this season. Second half was far more assertive and we really should have pocketed a couple of goals at least before the winner. FF's decision making remains a little poor. If he can sort that out he'd be practically unplayable. Deeney was off colour for once but for the first time since his return and just when it looked like we'd "do an Arsenal" up popped our goal machine Vydra to add another to his collection albeit from the spot. Overall this is going to be one hell of an entertaining season. Yes there'll be periods where it's a bit pedestrian but when it clicks it is already bordering on breathtaking. I would love it to click really quickly as I've had a speculative £10ew bet on us at 80/1 (hoping the depth and quality of our squad will really begin to show come the winter months, maybe a bit optimistically but you never know with this division!)
