Ditto to all those positive thoughts Leo - the world is too full of crap news at the moment, we need something good for a change.
Was going to come on & suggest I needed a big drink after yesterday .... but sometimes you read things that put life in perspective. All the best for the scan .... big hugs for you & Mrs L
How was Mexico? I hope you had a good time, where you went is one of the most beautiful places in the republic.
good luck Leonardo, to both of you...all good thoughts for you...i hope the news is all you want it to be...
Good morning all, a bright sunny morning here with an early temperature of 16C. Speaking to a friend on the phone last night, his wife has had her leg in plaster since February, but is due to be released in three weeks time. I dread to think just how hard she will find it to walk properly again after all those months. Should be an interesting battle if Helguson comes up against Hall tomorrow. Some of the Cardiff fans are saying that they want a different manager for away games as MM doesn't have a clue. It would seem that unless a team wins every game these days, some people start calling for heads to roll.
All the best Leo I can now fully understand what you are going through as My wifes mum is dying from cancer she has rushed back yesterday to be with her ,and my wife has throat cancer too (albeit in remission) she has beaten it before so there is always hope .
Best wishes to all those with cancer issues. I've lost one partner far too young through it and the present Mrs H is in remission after surgery and chemo. Few people seem untouched by it these days so support is always welcome. For me McMillans were fantastic...kept me going in the hardest times.
Best wishes for Mrs N Norway..hope that things go as best they can for her and her mum - tough times for you all.
The amount of people this disease in all forms touches is incredible I hope that Mrs H , N , L all stay in remission.
Mexico was so beautiful ... we had a wonderful time We visited Ek Balam .... very quiet & peaceful to wander round & being the only English tourists there that morning we had our own private guide. We also abseiled down into one of those underground caverns (cant remember the Mexican name) & had a swim - fantastic experience - still cant quite believe I was brave enough. The people were so lovely & friendly we would definitely go back
Cenotes? Glad you had a good time, this place gets a lot of bad press for obvious reasons but there are some positive points to here aswell.
Just enjoyed this rookery mike's blog http://fromtherookeryend.blogspot.co.uk/p/pozzo-league.html?showComment=1350983982268
Sorry... Norway..... just heard this morning that a good friend of ours has breast cancer.... my sister in law is recovering from it too... I think as you get older it seems so common...
Morning all, big day for OFH today, I was allowed to drive into town and back to get the MOT on the car done. First time I have been able to since the accident in August and to be out and about on my own made it quite an occasion. Oh and the car was deemed safe to be on the road for another two years.
Ah but does that include being driven by your leg? Good news though - being plastered from the toes up can be very frustrating.
