have to disagree with this, you're winning with 4 minutes to go and you think you're happier than us? don't think so, thanks demba, everyone to their own i suppose but for me it was 2 poor sides, even before tiote's stupid tackle
Would you believe it, a sensible post. Agree aside from us being there for the taking with 11, I honestly thought we would get a convincing win till the sending off.

at the end of the day we are all just normal people from a different area supporting our team. somehow derby day makes us hate and want to abuse people we would otherwise walk past in the street. crazy when you think about it to be honest. as for todays game, i thought we were in control and couldn't see anything but a newcastle victory until tiote got a deserved red card. that changed the game and up til ba scored an own goal i couldn't see an equaliser coming. despite the posession due to the extra man sunderland looked rather clueless. i would of took a draw before kick-off but was disapointed in the end.
Could have, should have, would have? makes no difference mate, it's what you ndid ddo that counts and you did score an own goal, thus resulting in a 1-1 draw. We've been robbed as well in the past, get over it and accept it.
As it said in my first sentence, end of the day we both scored one totally fair goal so you deserved a draw, try reading.
Tbf I think TTT was trying to say there is no set number of fouls for which a yellow must be shown, which is backed up by the third paragraph on page 59 in the legislation you linked.
This is what I meant I suppose I didn't word it well. Fans always say "he got 5 fouls before he was booked" "he got 6 before he was booked" as if thre is some magical number. Fact is, a player can make 100 nothing tackles and not get booked well within the laws.
A misplaced pass leads to a goal, an unfortunate header leads to an equaliser. The rest of it is football in a nutshell.
Really I thought we were outstanding and this looks the start of our season. Obviously we couldn't give the attacking performance we'd have liked after the refs decision but we dealth with Sunderland comfortably. We ran out of steam a little towards the end and couldn't see it through. I think we'd have won well yesterday with 11 men. I was surprised how poor Sunderland were. Their wingers will probably get the stick but they have little chance with that centre midfield, the quality of ball they get out wide is so poor. I didn't think they deserved a point, simply because they only created once chance of any note (the Saha one at the back stick). Demba Ba should have killed the game when Perch slipped him in but he never convinced he was gonna get it into his stride. A good point all said and done when you are down to 10 for that long.
