Defo Granero, Ceasar and Faurs for me Tarbs is having a great shout at making me look stupid though...hope he can carrry it on !
If a leader doesn't emerge from the various central defensive pairings (Nelson looking most likely; is he fit for today?) that have played so far then I'm not sure it'll matter how well Taarabt, Diakate etc do. More importantly, we have to start playing for the full 90 mins. To many games last season and this were lost through apathetic starts.
Who will emerge / really cut it this season? Avoidance of injuries permitting, Granero head and shoulders above all others. Thereafter, a host of good players improving with every game: Taarabt, Hoilett, Faurlin, Diakite... Nelsen to be our rock in the back line. Cesar a constant quality keeper. Just hope we can reinvigorate Cisse. (God only knows how we've allowed him to vegetate.)
