Are you confused? That explains a lot I'm not. It is very clear to me; we need to sign a couple of good defenders in January and until then Nigel is trying some things to get some points. It's not working at the moment and I'm going to keep supporting him, hoping it does work in the end.

I also know that we have a Chairman who to me appears to be running this club like a business and I like that. I know this, because he told me so at dinner.

Joe, I apologise for today, it has been me doing this. I try to ignore him, but sometimes he just gets my goat so much and I need to air it.

Yours is far less infuriating, because opinions tend to be less annoying when they're actually clearly reasoned.

Although it has wound him up into posting more... hmm... fatletiss out.

I've been guilty of that myself. It's hard to ignore someone with such offensively ignorant opinions, but eventually you have to accept that you won't get through to him. He doesn't listen to reason and he never will. People like you and I often feel like we need to eradicate ignorance wherever we can, but we have to face the fact that this is a lost cause. He's always going to be this way. And what's worse, our reactions will only spur him on. It's like the war in the Middle-East: our intentions are good, but we're just making things worse.

Very insightful Joe. I am going to make dinner and calm down. I only hope Dan's "Fatletiss Out!" campaign doesn't get too much momentum and my days on here are numbered.

You played a bit better than us in a terrible first half.

Second half we got ourselves sorted out (that's what a team talk from a true premier league manager does for you).

Once we got one we became far too much for you.

If you don't spend a few quid in January on your defence, you are going down.

Yes your start has been tough. But you have only taken 4 points from 12(i think) from what you might consider your "winnable" games and that isn't good enough.

You also need to sack your manager. He is out of his depth. Get Redknapp in and you will probably be fine as long as your chairman doesn't try and get involved in the football side of things.

Your first two goals were dreadful Errors on our part.....once we were chasing the game it was always on that we would leave gaps.
As for Sacking the manager for Redknapp......no thanks he is one manager that would not get the full support of the fans. It was touch and go the last time he was with us and thankfuly he went. Just look at what hhe did for Pompey........No thanks not in a million years............

You would actually turn down Redknapp in favour of keeping that limited, smug, perma-tanned goalkeeper manager you have at the moment?!?!

Redknapp won the fa cup with Pompey. It wasn't his fault he was allowed to spend the money he did. He is a football manager, not the clubs financial advisor.

He took a spurs team that were going down to 2 top 4 finishes in a few years.

If he would give any consideration to taking the job at your place, your chairman should be chasing him. He is a top manager that you would be very lucky to have.

With regards to yesterday's game, you had a lot of the ball but did very little with it.

Your defending was laughable and our class told in the end.

Nothing like kicking people when there down is it? Anyway what we do about our manager is surely none of your business, just toddle along and enjoy your smugness and with any luck we will be all sorted out in time for the return fixture, see you there.

Yep. And we know far more about both managers than you do, so back off.
