Granero is positively 'untackleable' unless you foul him. You simply can't get the ball off him. Also, I really felt that bringing on Mackie at that stage of the game would have been more effective than bringing Cisse on, but that's just my opinion.
Actually thought Hughes got everythig right today, two of the substitions were enforced but agree its time Mackie had a chance.
Thought the following Our fullbacks were excellent, solid defending and a real threat going forward. If Diakite can stay on his feet he has the ability to seriously influence the game. I was wrong about Granero. He can play DCM. Superb performance. Adel is most creative and causes the most threat to the opposition by playing through the middle. Zamora works hard but unless the ball comes straight to him he can look lethargic at times. MH deserves credit today. We dominated Everton for large periods. Finally, we remain very vulnerable at set pieces. Just my thoughts
