yeah there is minimal contact and his studs are down Le Tissier has brain washed you mate. How come Larson didn't even get a yellow for the de jong he did on Shola by the way?
Dear Tony...... We were defending a lead, away from home, with 10 men. Ofcourse you had more possession of the ball (). Totally stupid arguement to use anyway because possession means absolutely diddly dquat as you lot showed today. Ciao
No you moron I'm saying the latter it happens in football and whn it happens to one of ours I accept it! it could have been a yellow on a different day! I remeber you lot saying Tiote was aceat when Sausagebottom got sent off but tha fact was is was a 100 % red if you elbow someone on purpose in the face. see you at St James anyway mate
we were below par today... but you chaps... gotta say were a bit poor. While some will say a draw away from home is a fantastic result I'd say it's less than I would have liked given our start. hey it's only 3 points at the end of the day.
Also a lucky deflection falling perfectly to Cabaye for your goal? And 9 fouls from Cabaye - 3 of which would've been a yellow for 99% of players? What did the ref give that wasn't deserved? Tiote was high and reckless and worse that what Catts got booked for at the Wonga Arena last season and you lot all think he should've been sent off? Funny how you want it one way for us and a different way for yourselves.
Lucky deflection It was bad defending from O'Shea, not marking his man you spaz. Learn about the game of football before you pass comment. Larsson HAD to see red if Tiote did, beyond question. Disgustingly high boot. I have never said Cattermole should have gone off at SJP, thicket. Cabaye was quite rightly booked and no more, some fans (like yourself) don't understand that there is no actual system where the referee can say "oh, your sixth foul, that's a yellow." This "totting up of fouls" thing is a fabrication.
We would have won with 11 yawn! Go and cry in the corner. Unless you can see into the future you have no idea. Anything could have happened. Anyway, you did go down to 10 men and deservedly so, in the second half we had 80 % possession. Now you claim it was easy for u to defend, really? You let one in ya morons. You couldn't hold onto the ball and Ba struggled up front on his own. ****e Sunderland bossed your 10 men in the second half. Simples.
We didn't penetrate, Pure and simple and you're right. Sessegnon did little but hold the ball up, but he was well marked and offered little else, Fletcher has had better days, Gardner and Larrson had decent games and Jimmy C was a bit more lively, also Johnson played well in the first half (but where was he the 2nd half? We were better for Vaughan coming on) -and Rose was terrific between him and Collocini for MOTM, and btw ...Demba Ba was a handful all game, Hatem was lively and by far better than Stephan today and the back line was hard to break down. It was a good blood and guts game and the OP is right, you sat back. For the record, I think the ref saw the footage from the last derby-it was was a harsh sending off, but we're even now on that score and it's done -that said, you looked like you were there for the taking even before the sending off /my2cents.com Whilst looking dangerous at times, we were the better looking team on the balance of play throughout -more composure on the ball, better possession, generally winning the war for grit and getting to the ball first and having a go. We also lacked the inspiration to create anything that was likely to get us a goal. Did we deserve to win? -no and we've got to sort this out, ie: our attacking midfield is **** at the moment. Did we deserve to draw? Yes, next question. Did we deserve to lose? We played better today, we need to keep playing like that winning a couple of games ...and no, we didn't deserve to lose
Think 1-1 was a fair result, thought Tiote's was yellow not red, I'm sure both sets of fans will be pleased this one's over. Now we can all concentrate on getting on with our lives again.
Imagine if we had to play each other every week? I'm sure we'd all be nervous wrecks after a few weeks. Unfortunately, the fixture, in recent years, has plumbed new depths of hatred among some fans of both of our teams. I don't mind a bit of banter but calling each other scum etc does no favours for anyone. You can feel that level of hatred in the air, it sours what should be a great occasion.
