Evening all It is I, Andy Carroll's Ponytail (formerly Torres's Blondest Highlight) from 606. As 606 is obviously about to close, I have got the impression that this is the most popular of the alternatives that people have set up. I am just wondering if the Liverpool board here has a designated match thread man at all? If not, I'm more than willing to continue my duties after 606 closes and see how it goes on here. Cheers ACP
At the moment I'm the one who does the Match threads, but I'd be more than willing to share the duties with you if you wish . Oh, and welcome to Not606, it's a great place honestly!! If you see a WUM that you feel is just going that bit too far here, then mail Bozz and he will sort them out.
Hi Ze Liverbird Sure, we could do that. I'll finish off this season on 606 with my last few match threads cry and we could maybe sort something for the new season on here?
I'll put up a poll in July to vote for who should do the match threads. I'll give an exact date soon but for now you can start canvassing for votes and we'll organise some debates leading up to the election. Nominations for match thread starters will be open until the end of May. Best of luck.....

You and the Ze Bird would make a formidable team The Liverpool board has been quoted as having the best articles on this site, and i'm sure with more people like you it will only improve. Cheers Skylarker Thought I would give it a try, hopefully more people will join when 606 closes as well. As I say I'll stick to doing the threads on 606 for now and then if I do some next season I'll work on tweaking the format of the ones I do on 606 to suit this forum
Not sure what the exact date is. They say it's at the end of the season, so my guess is that it will shut at the end of May after the Football League playoffs.
Like Istanbul it was a bad start and many thought it was over before it had begun, but it came back from the slings and arrows of outrageous wummery to be full of win. Kudos to Bozz. Starts with a B, ends with a Z. Like Benitez. Eh? EH? Spookinessabounds.
I'm quite sure it's just a coincidence.. although saying that Bozz has been known to lapse into Spanish and start talking White stuff in bottles and priests standing on sugar mountains. Strange, Strange indeed! I remember he also once went on a "FACTS" rant with KPR against the Man United WUMs.
Welcome ACP! I consider myself one of the old school from 606, there are also a few familiar faces on this site as you will see. Surprised you still use 606, I stopped pretty much on the day of the announcement in January. I thought the site was dieing anyway with the amount of wums, and their general focus on our forum. This site actualy works realy well - it was dodgy at the start, but now each board regulate itself which is a great idea. Welcome to the site! I recomend looking at our photo shop thread!
Another thing Pony - much like the 606 page they had for comments on all live games rather than individual match threads - we have a forum which people also constantly comment as the game goes on. Can be a little childish, but its worth a look.
