There were numerous bad decisions by the ref today, I think that was the least contentious to be honest. For them, when Jonas went down off Colback's minimum contact was stupid, when Ben Arfa pulled Mclean's top off and got a free-kick (did Mclean's fat torso offend the ref?), the corner off Willo which wasn't given, and there were a couple of niggly little ones outside our box which I think should have been given.

For us, where do I start?

Corner off Gardner not given, hand-ball shout from Larsson, De Jong-like chop on Shola with no consequences, Tiote's red, loads of trips on Ben Arfa...

Basically, the ref had a shocker all day. I think we as opposing fans can be jointly quite happy he didn't have the opportunity to ruin the game further by having to play for an extra minute or two of injury time.

he was fine I think you could see it in his face when the number came up. I know waht yoru saying but once they went off it was a barage of attacks down the left because of that lazy **** Obertan and Ba trying to do a Colo. I understand if we had won and saved 5 mins of two of our best would have been seen as a good change, however at the same time when it goes worng it's a bad one.

Pardew never usually gets much wrong of but I'm just saying.

I agree everytime we had the ball they were hands all over the back of our players, going through them to the ball etc etc but the ref was simply not seeing them and as for the linesman he was celarly afarid of the locals.

yes but we need to start winning against **** teams or come January the vultures from the likes of Man United, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham even at this rate will be coming in for our best players.

Last Jan was different because of our league position but we all know Cabaye had his head tuned at the start of this season and that our aim was top 4 so if we look like mid table come Jan I'd be very surprised if we keep him, Ben Arfa and Ba for much longer.

I'm now wondering which ref had the worse game,

The ref at Everton 2-2 , or the ref at Sunderland 1-1.

Both had glaring horrendous decisions, but I think the Sunderland Atkinson has to win it...Giving away fouls that weren't fouls(the Danny Rose *trip* at the right hand side outside penalty box) or sometimes giving them the wrong way (to Ben Arfa) or even to give at all (Jonas Oscar flop).

Obvious corners not given or give corners when they are goal kicks, Perch taking out the player before taking the ball, Larsson trying to break Shola's Adam's Apple escapes while Tiote misses a block tackle, with his man at the ready to take off and land on the floor getting called for a red

We were very good, and deserved a win. Even with 10 men and the ref we were still the better team. we will push on from this.

    Sky bias as usual!

Ray Wilkins saying we punched above our weight last season.

WBA at home becomes a big game now, (we have Liveropool away after) WBA is must win to kick start our season. Our boys were great today, couldn't fault them, even Williamson had a great game. I'm devastated we didn't get the win we deserved, 10 points from 8 games isn't great.

Too many draws is costing us at the moment, was pleasing to see us "on it" from the first whistle today though.

At the risk of getting a post match red card I thought the ref gave good old fashioned c@nts a bad name.

The thing is we are going to have to win 3 or 4 games in a row now to have any chance of repeating last year and out of 8 games we have won 2.

The amount of negativity we have to put up with from the tv pundits is causing me to question my subscription. Wilkins, Le-Tissier on Sky, Twaddle on ESPN, Lawro on BBC. It really is painful.

I like Stan Collymore on Talksport. He's not frightened to speak his mind.
