The signings, which will significantly add to Leeds' tightly controlled wage bill, are indicative of Leeds majority shareholder Ken Bates' confidence in bringing substantial new investment into the Championship club. While Bahraini finance company GFH Capital currently holds an exclusive agreement to take over the club, it has failed to complete the deal and has lost the confidence of key elements of the Leeds United support with quixotic public statements. Once the agreement expires, Bates will be free to agree a sale of shares to other interested parties on condition Leeds repay a £2million loan to GFH Capital. Bates invited an affluent American investor to Leeds last month to assess the club's potential. Now then now then. 2 great signings for this league. Even one of those would be good. I reckon Poleon will also get lots more game time in the second half of the season.
With Thompson getting sent off, I think his loan wil be extended for the rest of the year. But if I remember right, his previous red was slightly harsh. Poleon should get a few more months out there too, and learn some of the tricks of being a striker from Blackwell. Hmm. A goalie teaching a striker how to do his job? Maybe they have some other coaches at Bury.
You are more than welcome to Jones lads as he is garbage but we would like to hang on to Jerome! Jones spends more time on his rear looking at the ref than he does banging in the goals. Good in the air and good at defending set pieces but on the ground totally useless and lethargic!

As for Jerome and Jones, good signings at this level although i take Castles posts with a pinch of salt.
