No it would'nt but it would be a start , too much pressure on players now , if you tell them the truth and stop messing about with formations and selections then its a start .
They probably know they are not good enough , but having the pressure off them to perform will help , Benali was not an amazing player but played to his strengths , why cant they ? Fox for a start is ordered not to pump the ball long as he can not pass , he is not Platini or Wilkins , he is an average defender playing like a Sunday League footballer , a peg or two required to bring down I think .

If you cared to try and read and understand, I also have said the defence isn't good enough. Since then I have asked what you would do and you don't answer. My footballing prowess allowed me to see this but my ears and eyes allowed me to understand that we tried a couple of defenders but that didn't work. My brain made me understand that not all attempted signings come off. My heart, though a little sunk at the moment, made me get behind my team and hope that we get through to January which is now the earliest we an change things.

My eyes are now screaming at me because they know the next thing they will read from you is some drivel about "why didn't we get those signings..."

I've just watched Adkins interview on Player rather than on the radio and it comes over slightly differently. He looked disappointed rather than in despair and when he said we play 4.3.3 it was said in a determined manner and there was definitely no undercurrents. I got the impression at one point, he avoided criticism of the team but seemed to suggest we need some players.

Just seen the goals on Sky (you have to sometime!)...nice goal from Adam.

 

I think that shall happen anyway dont you ? Putting them on a day spa course with hot stones and colonic irrigation wont help that either .

I would of played Guly .
I would of played a 4-5-1
I would of played Lambert .
