    No what they do is, not let it get to them go up the other end and put ball in the net a couple of times whilst assisting another with a goal <ok>

    So you see Liverpool as top six contenders then?

    Why top six?, keeping your options open in case it all goes tits up for Utd?

    Or maybe because as it stands Utd are as near to 6th as they are to 1st?

    <whistle>

    We'll finish 6th.

    Guarantee it.

    Because at present i see Chelsea, City, United, Arsenal, Totenham and Everton as top six contenders with Newcastle and West Brom as good chances, i do not see Liverpool being close to any of these as things stand and think a top half finish will be a good result for them. This may change by Christmas but i think your club has a hard season ahead.

    'as things stand' is the most relevant part of your post, we are work in progress under a new manager and your prediction could be right, however we are slowly improving and are currently only 5 points off 4th place and with the january transfer window still to come and a new striker in we might just get 5th.

    As things stand is the most relevant part of my post, this season i see you having a hard time making any impact on the league but next season you could be in contention for top four.

    The blues are going great guns and fair play, the margin between us and the top 6 should be smaller, we gifted City an equaliser and dropped 2 points and Sunderland and Stoke were well winnable for us but due to poor finishing we had to settle for draws.

    As i said, with a new striker in things 'might' change for the better for us, but we'll have to wait and see.:smiley:

    Today's games

    Sunderland v Newcastle 13:30 KO

    QPR v Everton 16:00 KO

    Another couple of interesting games, Sunderland v Newcastle is always feisty and hopefully QPR can get their act together and take points of Everton

    With Spurs and Arsenal both losing this weekend hopefully Everton will follow suit (I doubt it), surely that every week that passes QPR will become more fluid, or worse.. Who knows?

    Sunderland 1 - 1 Newcastle FT

    Probably the ideal result for us, now hopefully QPR will beat Everton and it'll turn out to be a pretty good weekend for us

    6 points off fourth now, not bad considering!
