    ....really nervous about tomorrow's game? Can't quite putty finger on why - but I do have a horrible feeling that if Ca***ll plays any part he'll score.

    Added to that can't stand Liverpool football club and their fans. Put them up there with Spurs as the league's most annoying.

    Ive had a feeling for ages that we will get an absolute pasting, but then again we always seem to raise our game against the teams at the top end of the table, so who knows. A draw would be a good result considering Liverpools home form.

    but seeing as it's two sleeps away it's not really tomorrow. Tomorrow would be what you wake up to after one night's sleep

    Who will we play in midfield - guthrie, gosling and Irelan are out and Nolan is doubtful? Richardson? Or play Jonas on the right and Fergie on the left?

    Nolan will play apparently, he's recovered somewhat but I think he'll only last an hour or so. I've plenty of faith in young Fergie to step up on the left wing, pushing Jonas onto the right.

    Not expecting anything from the match tbh. The main thing is that we follow up whatever the result is with a win v Birmingham next weekend.

    Pretty sure the feeling is mutual. Never used to mind the Geordies until this forum. Then you realise what a bunch of deluded tossers you lot are.

    Not going to predict the score cos I actually think you have a decent set of players so could go any way, although on form (esp. home form) we should beat you.

    I cannot stand Liverpool fans calling us deluded it does my head in!
    Liverpool must have the most deluded fans in the country by a mile (yes we may be 2nd)
    Complaining at Torres going to Chelsea saying that Liverpool are a bigger club- 10 years ago this may have been true
    but he has far more chance of winning trophies there
    Same with Amy-hate the pr*ck but he has more chance of winning a trophy there at the moment!
    Football is played in the present- liverpool are a midtable side and all the media and pundits and fans should deal with it

    Yes I'm nervous. We don't do well at Anfield as a rule and they are on form. We don't exactly have our strongest attacking options available. Would snatch somebody's hand off if they offered a draw but expect to lose. Just don't want to lose heavily.

    Yeah, not expecting too much, in fact would put money on a loss by more than 2 goals.
    Nonetheless, looking forward to it, wanted to visit Anfield for a while to see if this class atmosphere is a myth and if the YNWA is all it's cracked up to be.
