No that it should make much of difference to quality players, but for someone like Gervinho he is even worse on the right compared to the left. This is a problem because Podolski does not play on the right.

I really do think Adrian would be a good signing. He can play across the front 3, or as a CAM, or as a false 9.

He reportedly has a buy out clause which is under £20 Mil. If we want him and he wants to join us, then it should be straight forward.

I actually heard it was about 14 million. If thats true, he'd be an absolute bargain.

Redknapp on MOTD claiming that he was in for every player mentioned. <laugh>

He's not a wheeler dealer though

Harry thinks we're well short of the title. For the 1st time ever, i agree with Redknapp. We weren't triffic

The moment RVP was sold, was the moment our title challenge died.

They just did us. I say us, they only really showed Norwich as we didn't really do anything.

his defending is underated, would have been 4 3 and a nervous last 5 minutes or so if it wasnt for him.

Liverpool start 17 year old Raheem Sterling every week. Thats all the motivation we need to start Gnabry, and i reckon Gnabry could be better than Sterling in the long run, if he isn't already.

Gnarby should have had an assist if Gerv hadn't ****ed up. Plus the extra competition=more motivation for players

Gervino and Podolski were none existent for most of the match, Podolski had a good early effort, but after that he faded out of the entire game, and in all honesty, that is a big problem with him that's been covered up due to the fact that he's managed to score in some of those games or due to the fact that the result went in our favour. But Pod really needs to start doing more for the team, some fans weren't happy to see him subbed off, but I wasn't frustrated at that sub, nor am I frustrated by seeing him substituted in other games, because in most of the games, he was barely doing jack sh!t for me to say ohhhh **** why you taking him offf?!!!! he's been looking amazing!

The very fact that Mannone's error today isn't even the main talking point shows how rubbish we were as a team today, from A-Z we were just utter sh!te.

Norwich (and Arsenal) fan in peace. Four comments: (1) Yesterday was the first time we have looked and played like Chris Hughton's team, rather than a pale shadow of Paul Lambert's team. As at Birmingham last year, it has taken CH eight games to get his side sorted and playing as he wants. He got his tactics right, we were well organised, comfortable with the game plan, and he selected square pegs in square holes. You just happened to be the opponents when our campaign started in earnest; that said, a lot of Arsenal players looked as if (1) they were still on the plane back from international duty, (2) thinking about Schalke not Norwich, and (3) expecting to roll us over without breaking sweat -- after all we have the worst GD in the division, were without a win, and were 19th in table. (A lot of people on here seemed to expect a walk in the park too). IMO underestimating lowly opposition is a bad Arsenal habit that has been too much in evidence in recent years. In the final analysis, this result won't make much difference to your season. Onward and upward, both teams, until we meet at the Emirates in the second half. <cheers>

The thing is though, this has happened EVERY season since we last won a trophy. I would have no problem with Arsenal finishing fourth if the other three teams ahead were just leaps and bounds better than us but they really aren't. Despite Chelsea, City and United not playing to their best, they still have that winning mentality, something we have lacked for so long. They're able to grind out results even when they don't deserve them.

Norwich played well and credit to them but we hardly had to make their goal keeper work. It was a shocker on our behalf.

Again, if the team actually played every game like it was their last one ever then I'd have no problem. If we finished 4th but played well consistently all season then I'd still be happy. But that isn't the case. We have players on our wages that are useless or on loan, we sell our best players when they have a decent season for us (Hleb, Flamini, Nasri, Song, RVP). How much longer will this go on? We can't keep on selling our best players once they reach a high level. It's bloody ridiculous.

And yes, I am going to mention again that we sold our best striker to our rival. OUR RIVALS. That takes the ****ing piss. I don't give a damn about the circumstances, you do not weaken your own squad to strengthen a rivals. Common sense. We've been a feeder club to Man City and now Man United. I'm sure it won't be long before we sell Walcott to Spurs or Chelsea. It really wouldn't surprise me.

One swallow doesn't make a summer Robbie, but I obviously agree - Norwich were excellent yesterday. We defended in an extremely organised, regimented manner, and completely nullified Cazorla - as a result, Arsenal just couldn't play. It's a start, and Hughton got things tactically perfect for the first time yesterday, but we can't now rest on our laurels; we have to push on.
