    So you think arteta is better than Yaya Toure. Thats bias at its greatest. You're like liverpool fans who thinks joe allen is the dogs bollox because he has high passing stats

    If you can read I said Arteta is playing better AT THE MOMENT. THAT DOES NOT MEAN HE IS A BETTER PLAYER. FFS if you are going to do this get your facts straight

    He is not and will never be better than Yaya no matter what the stats say. By your logic Joe Allen has one of the best passing stats around so that makes him comparible to the like of xavi, xavi alonso etc does'nt it

    Yeah, but he is not at Man City. He has not played that role in FOUR years. So if we are about the best current DM's in the PL, then Yaya should not be in the discussion.

    They play one DM, and a box to box midfielder next to the CDM. Barry would be the DM, Yaya the CM.

    Not really. They play with one DM and one CM. Yaya is the CM, who burst forward. Also he has played as an AM in a lot of the games.

    Not really the point, is it? If we are talking DM's as Arsegun was, there was no need to bring up Yaya, who has not done that role in four bloody years.

    Tbh no one not even arteta is a pure dm. He usually has a partner aiding him. In any case dm is one thrid of a midfield trio. Arsenals third player hasnt had a sniff of the ball yet

    Well he is the deepest midfielder in our system who tracks runners and intercepts passes before distributing them. Also he does not make any runs into the opposition box, so yeah, he is our DM.
