    The issue is not what we have , its never been that , its been why do we have what we have and the reasons why , there has been no word on the lack of defensive transfers , why not ? This would go some way to appease the questioners and ones who doubt the real intentions of the club .

    At the end of the day, Wigan are losing, Reading are losing, Villa are losing, and there is every chance that Norwich will lose tonight. We are poor, but so are others. But yes, no-one can argue that our defending isn't a total and utter embarrassment.

    To be honest on paper our fully strength team should be enough to survive, Hooiveld was good last year but has just lost the plot, Fox has too. i think our defenders just arent playing well enough.

    We were one of the top spenders in January...how have we done it on the cheap? Yes we clearly need to bring some quality defenders in, but who's to say that we couldn't get our defensive targets? One things for sure, we will bring some in in January. But until then we have to go with what we have got.

    Are we wrong ? We sure as **** want to be but we aint , your men in tights whistling gayly to the tune of oh when the saints may be singing but we still have a crap defence .

    I have to say I'm really worried what Defoe will do to us next week. He looked very sharp against Chelsea. Lets's just hope Bale is on paternity leave!

    I don't think I've ever denied the defence is bad - I just have different, less aggressive/menstrual ways of expressing opinions than you do.
