Six days and counting. So what can we expect? Well Red Bull are likely to be as strong as ever, downforce the biggest asset, turn 8 might be their strong suit. McLaren suggesting they will apply small tweaks to 'tune' things a bit, including aerodynamics.
Ferrari always there or there abouts, aiming to bring significant improvement (or will heads roll?). Mercedes were strong, but Rosberg was either fuelled incorrectly or was burning up his quota (mixture setting) more than they planned he would need. Does that mean we got a false picture? Renault? - well watch carefully - they might be the dark horse instead of the prancing one!

    Same as usual really...

McLaren should be a bit quicker than in China in qually, but you dont see anyone getting pole apart from Seb.....

I just see a close fight for 3rd tbh. Think team Red Bull will pritty much order whoever is 2nd to let the front guy win the race rather than fight for it.

The same as last years would do nicely for me. I very much enjoyed last years Tukish GP with Webber, Vettel, Hamiton and Button all following each other very closely, then the Red Bull crash, the little Mclaren duel followed by their one-two.

Apparently the Mercedes fuel problems in China was down to the new aero package. Seems a strange one, if they ran the package on Friday they should've had all the fuel usage data they needed. Either way I don't think they'll be making the same mistake in Turkey.

I might be wrong, but I'm sure I heard Ferrari's major upgrades were coming in Barcelona now, not Istanbul. I think their race here could be just as difficult as last year.

I expect Red Bull to lead the way, followed by McLaren, then Mercedes and Renault pretty much even with Ferrari just behind.

I haven't heard anything about that, and it looks unlikely with a 3 week gap, but you could be right. My understanding of Ferrari's current situation and upgrade plans are:

    - Currently fixing wind tunnel, meanwhile using Toyota's
    - Big changes for Turkey: Rear suspension, flexible wing
    - Other changes rumoured for Turkey: Exhaust, diffuser, sidepods.
    - If Turkey update works, more important developments coming for Spain and then Monaco.
    - Car is supposed to improve by up to a second - but other teams will be updating as well.
