I condem that piece of filth who struck kirkland tonight and hope that he ends up in clink and can never step foot in a ground ever again, but did anyone see dave jones being interviewd ? he stated ALL leeds fans should be banned fro all away games, he has a chip on his shoulder regarding the abuse he has taken over the last 12 years from a section of our fans, I was in cardiff a few years ago when he left his dug out to make a disgusting gesture at the leeds fans, get your own house in order mr jones before you go taring all leeds fans with the same brush
Aye, he should just accept people saying he was a ****phile, because he dared to work in children's unit whilst out of football.
It's not as simple as that, Boab. The CPS didn't chuck it out. He had to go to court to defend himself. There must have been some sort of evidence for it to go that far. (I'm not suggesting he was guilty, btw, but perhaps a bit naive to put himself into that position).
He hates us and tonight was his big chance to get us back, the bloke is A COMPLETE idiot, hope has a warm welcome at elland rd
For those defending him, read up on the case on Wiki - He wasn't found not guilty by a court, the judge had to throw it out after a couple of lads refused to testify. I am not saying he is guilty or innocent, just remaining open minded
His disgracefull comments tonight have NOTHING to do as to wether he was a child abuser or not, as i said the bloke is an idiot and a rubbish manager
I hope in the morning, some of you wake up out of your tribalistic hate and emotion and accept that what is chanted by football fans in general are completely unacceptable
Sheldon, I absolutely agree....BUT... the comments made by Jones, the Gaffer at Wednesday and leader of the club, were irresponsible and disgraceful comments about ALL Leeds supporters, including you. That is simply unacceptable, because there are other MORONS out there who support other clubs who may take that as a license to misbehave when Leeds are in town. Using the current anti-racism atmosphere as a smokescreen to deflect peoples feelings about his own reputation - rightly or wrongly - is just not on!!
I know what you are saying BS, but I don't see it as just a swipe at lufc but at tribalistic hatred within football The incident gave him that green light to raise the subject rightly or wrongly and he was clearly emotional Ristac, that wiki extract makes clear he is not guilty and all charges were thrown out due to them being trumped up Hope those who have written on here that he is a nonce are sued and learn the lesson that they are responsible for exactly what they write
I have no idea what you mean by 'fascism'. I would suggest that at least the majority of Leeds supporters no longer accept the vile stuff that once was firmly attached to our club. The club itself can do more and I'm sure will do, however there are now many more supporters who will take photo's/videos of those who use and abuse people and send them both to the club and the police. Idiots follow every football club, Leeds are not the only club, it's time for everyone to stand up for their club and get these ******s out of football.
Good evening gents. From what I can see from toehr threads similar to this one, is that the culprit has been named, unless I've misread the threads. Unfortunately, the decent Leeds fans, of which there is a very great number, will now be tarred with the same brush. I hope that you, as supporters don't get punished by an 'away fan' ban. Wednesday aren't totally innoccent in this case either. Don't they employ stewards to stop, or at least, minimise this sort of thing happening? What were the stewards doing? Watching the game instead of doing their job? As I said earlier, I hope that you as proper fanse don't get punished, but I fear you will be.
What a ****. **** needs to sort his own house out first. What about the Wednesday fans chanting Istanbul? Ain't saints either. It's actually a piss take a man who barely escaped child sex abuse charges is calling anyone else an animal...he shouldn't be working full stop never mind been a football manager.
Agree, Boab. And I think a lot of fans could learn from the Tartan Army. I can't ever remember reading about an arrest or complaint against the TA in the last 20 years or so. The TA are self-governing in that any nonsense is nipped in the bud by fellow TA supporters who have a little more sense (or more likely a little less booze!) in them. It's worked well for a long time, and it was spurred on by the english accusations of TA hooliganism when we had the audacity to invade the park for a friendly celebration after the full time whistle. Oh, and we committed the ultimate sin of sitting on the goals and breaking them! Such thugs. Fatalities? Zero. Injuries? Zero, apart from a few splinter from the crossbar! We were absolutely smashed by the english press who were trying to deflect from the rightful criticism of the english fans. Don't think the TA had much to fix, tbh, but fixed it was. And remains so. Something for us all to aspire to.
Yeah he's been named and he had previous. I am sure I read he has had three banning orders starting from 16 and previously obtained away membership using a friends details, which he must have done again. Unfortunately these loop holes will always be exposed, lets just hope the punishment for him personally is a strong one. I wouldnt be surprised if the club get hit ten times harder for his actions than what will affect his life or pocket personally.
In my experience, many police officers wish for this to take place, self governing within the supporters will work, especially to get the type of ****ers who use football to spew their intolerance of others (perhaps due to jealousy).
You didn't answer my last question on another thread, is it okay to sing the Bates get out of our club chant because I am sure I remember seeing somewhere in the past that you felt it was appropriate? Forgive me not remembering which thread as Boab seems it is fitting to start several under the same subject.
Anything that happens there has nothing, repeat nothing to do with football. Believe me, there are other more maleovent forces at work there.
