Back on topic - it will be interesting what happens with regards to certain players not wearing the kick it out shirts! Ferdinand is in the firing line from Fergie and I understand Roberts and also KJ also didn't wear them!
I personally have no problem with players not wearing those T-shirts if they don't feel it is right for them. It should be left to the individual IMO. John Terry has caused a lot of trouble and he has got away very leniently in my view. Chelsea ought to have matched the FA and banned him for an additional of 4 games. The fine will be peanuts to him.
Unfortunately the "beautiful game" has been tarnished again with the ugly allegations of further inappropriate remarks by Clattenburg with the alleged implications of a racial inference. Whilst innocent until proved otherwise, I would find it shocking if it turns out to be true, given the one communication channels that are overheardby the other officials. However if true it will be interesting to see what action both the police and the FA take given the leniency shown towards Terry!
Smither's I said this on the Chelsea board. I just can't see WHY two player's would complain if it's not happened.. IF guilty he's a goner I think.
If he is guilty, there will be evidence from their head sets. We never know what could have happened to Terry if there was audio to go along with the video of him mouthing off, which would prove or disprove the context which he claimed to have used.
Too right Smither's J T hung himself as soon as he admitted saying "anything".. as for Mark Clattenburg, If he NEVER ref's another game for us it will be too soon. He's gone belly up many a time reffing our games... that said, Remember Graham Poll? he stopped reffing due to the abuse he received and the stress it caused. Difference is, he was a decent ref IMO.
Unfortunately the Courts can't say the same thing. That's how he got cleared, and is most likely why the FA only gave a 4 match ban.
So Clattenburg! Was it a false allegation? http://www1.skysports.com/football/...nappropriate-language-by-Football-Association
So what now with Clattenberg, these were after all potential career finishing allegations. Will the people who brought the charges face a similar fate? the minimum should be a lengthy ban and a huge fine.
For me, if someone makes a flase allegation (as in rape cases) they should subject to the equivalent punishment as the crime itself!
To be honest I never for 1 minute thought the allegations were true.Let`s face it would anyone in their right mind call a black person a monkey, let alone a referee, especially in the current climate on the subject of race!! No, I think it`s the fact that Chelsea wanted to try and stir the `s---` because they were aggrieved over the Terry incident. Shame on them, and if I was Clattenburg I`d sue them for defammation of character!! Ramirez `thought` he heard him say that, yet no one on the head sets heard a thing ,`Bo---cks!!` I say.Someone can just say they thought that`s what was said and the police,CPS and FA become involved! It`s typical of the way things are, nowadays I`m sorry to say.. Rant over
Exactly Smithers, criminal proceedings and a public apology that should be sung loud and proud, then ban them for life.
If this is true it is a disgrace! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mark-clattenburg-ready-to-refuse-to-referee-1454828 It would have been more appropriate for the people who made the unproven allegations to be suspended from playing/coaching in any game he officiates!
Interesting stat; Clattenburg has missed the same amount of games for being innocent as Terry missed for being guilty!
