It's the duty of everyone who cares about racism and discrimination in football to protest against the FA favouritism shown to Rio X.
1) Surely racism is something that should concern EVERY right minded person no matter what colour they are so SAF has the same right to a view as the rest of us. 2) Why is it in a discussion about racism that Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Anton Ferdinand and Jason Roberts are the problem? The language used by Suarez and Terry was the problem. The fact that both of them refused to admit they'd done a single thing wrong was the problem. The fact that they both portrayed themselves as victims was the problem.
Don't think a person has to actually say something to condone it do they Diego? If you wear a racially offensive t-shirt , carry a racially offensive banner or write racially offensive words you're condoning it, just like condoning a racist slur on Twitter and laughing at the victim. Or am i wrong?
Do you mean like if someone of your own race refuses to admit he has heard something offensive because he want`s to be one of the boys, then somebody else calls him a name which in effect means you are helping racism thrive, the guy who say`s "classic, i know where you are coming from" is a racist?
He never got fined for being a 'racist' Diego, he got done for breaking the same FA rule as Suarez and Terry, which is FA rule E3[2] using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour which included a reference to colour and/or race. Doesn't matter if Rio is black or not he agreed with a racially abusive slur on a fellow black player on a open internet forum. Guilty as charged.
So, he didn`t actually call the guy a Choc-ice but said he knew what the man who said it meant , he got fined for knowing the meaning anyway, so not really let off lightly then. Many people know the meaning of this comment and many would understand it`s use in this case but most would be apalled to be classed as racist for undrstanding what someody else was trying to say.
Stop defending him Diego, he laughed at the racially abusive remark that had been aimed at Cole, thereby his 'behaviour' broke the FA rule because the remark was a 'reference to colour and/or race'. He should take more care when using Twitter or stay away from it.
How much time of your pathetic little lives is spent analysing what footballer's say? If you spent a similar amount of time analysing the words of Karl Marx/Martin Luther King/Nelson Mandela your lives would be so much more fulfilling.
Impossible. JT only ever wears the full Chelsea kit. Especially whilst collecting trophies from various sporting events all around the world
