I call for a prediction competition. All members get until Friday 17 October 2012 to pick the date of Brendan Rodgers' sacking (and news of his sacking has to appear on BBC and Skysports to be confirmed as true). The person with the closest prediction gets to add the title "the Sackmaster" at the end of their username as a badge of honour. The competition will start again when the new manager gets hired, I hope they give Avram Grant some $$$ to spend when he gets his chance, it's only fair...

I watched Being Liverpool for the first time last night. It was absolutely cringeworthy. Rodgers thinks he's some kind of philosopher but actually spouts bullshit, the part with the 3 envelopes was horrendous. What was funny was that they needed subtitles for Carragher and some of the fans. As this was made for the American audience it's going to be a PR disaster for them. Americans like winners and watching a team prepare to get stuffed 3-0 by West Brom isn't going to have them tuning in week after week or running out to by the latest Liverpool kit.
That was hilarious - no subtitles for Reina or Lucas or all the other non English players, but they needed to subtitle Carragher

I think this really shows tiki taka Rodgers may be out of his depth. Has he been appointed above his ability? I have the feeling that many scousers fans actually agree with me in that suspicion
Gerrard doesn't look amused does he. Not been playing well himself lately, if there are names in those envelopes id wager Gerrards is one of them. If Brendan tried to drop Gerrard to the bench that would be TV worth watching. Hopefully it would contain plenty of interviews with fans and show LFC forum's in meltdown over it.
Tiki taka Rodgers says there is no way he will recall Carroll back even if his strike force is looking threadbare and wasted. Was this a decision based on pride or does he really believe that Carroll is totally useless?

He must have been reading the post`s on the Pool boards match thread, before the game almost all the posters stated if Downing was playing they would lose or wouldn`t be watching. Maybe today the same posters will be declaring him an Anfield hero.

Watching him heap praise on downing is pathetic. Other than a goal he was non existent as usual, that Assaidi kid was 100 times better than Downing. If he seriously thinks Downing has proven himself after that performance he's an idiot.
