Remember A Thompson who used to love scoring against Rangers, do you remember them, well apparently they who make the decisions at Celtic decided with Rangers dead and gone there was no further need for their recent coach A. Thompson. Neil Lennon was sent down to Newcastle but wasn't able to link up face to face with A.Thompson. Neither was he able to steal any cameras or do any damage but that is a different story. It seems Allan got his jotters over the phone What I am trying to tell you is that Allan may soon be back in charge of the green and white hoops. Wait a moment, its not Celtic but Shamrock Rovers from Dublin. A. Thompson is linked with Rovers who recently sacked Kenny who I think was with Dunfirmline a couple of years ago. The league of Ireland soon go into their close season with the new season starting in February. Rovers were champions last year and had a run in the Europa League. I hadn't seen Allan name for quite a while and I thought some other Celtic fans may have been interested. Rovers have a great history but had no permanent base for years. However in recent years they have moved to a fine stadium in Tallacht Dublin and would be very ambitious.
http://tintin.wikia.com/wiki/Allan_Thompson According to google this is the one. **** knows why he's taking over at shamrock rovers though??!!
He's a ****ing nasty piece of work, that **** hit Snowy with a champagne bottle in King Ottokar's Sceptre. I would have thought the press would be all over this story, i don't recall a cartoon character ever being given a coaching job. (Ally McCoist apart) I mean what exactly will Thompson bring to Rovers? His vast experience of first mating? I think Shamrock are taking a bold gamble here but I hope it pays off
I would imagine A. Thompson would be seen as a top notch scoop by theRovers if they managed to get him as first team coach or manager. His pedigree is clear played football at the highest level, right up to European final level. Also experienced EPL Level as player. In coaching he has been part of a successful young coaching team at Celtic. Rovers were at one time one of the most successful teams in Ireland but went through a long period in the doldrums but are now ambitiously and had a good run in the UEFA league last season. I have no doubt a man of Thompson's youth yet experience would be ideal to restore their national titles and continue with success in Europe.
