Sure am!! i drive - via M40/M25/A111 - Normally coincide with visit to relatives in Wood Green/Palmers Green area. So park there and wander down WHL. Bit of a walk, but decent exercise!!
We'll have to agree to disagree PNP but with Terry's hands tucked in towards his body I'm not sure it was deliberate. As for the Gomes one for me it was a clear goal scoring opportunity. Ramires would have scored.
AVB has rubbished Chelsea 's C/L win, saying His Porto team done better going unbeaten in their league, when he was manager. He say's it's harder to go all season unbeaten in a league, than to win the C/L.I believe he's right!.
Gotta agree with PNP here, DL. your fans might think you've been hard done by, but the decisions against us have been glaringly obvious. - None more so than the ball that was a yard from crossing the line. with all those players in the way and the linesman so far away from the "bundle"on the line, how did he give it? all camera angles showed it wasn't over the line, and also displayed the evidence that there was no way the linesman could have seen it. anyway, lets not get into that, but I think that defines back luck. Yours "decisions" have been "Potentially debatable", at best. I wan't having a dig, Bucks. I was genuinely asking if you knew the stats? I'd just be interested to see how much he's influenced your games so far this year.
For me this game will be tight and nailbiting as ever, it could go either way! I'm a massive fan of Friedels and didn't think he should have not played the last game but I would be tempted to go with Lloris for this one as chelsea seem to be playing more slide passes in and around the box with the likes of mata hazard and oscar about and hugo seems much quicker off his line and may cut these out. Also aswel as Defoe has done I think ade should play uptop for obvious reasons and Defoe might be a bit leggy after playing on that pitch in Poland. I'm going for a spurs win cos that's how I roll
I think it was the size of his wallet, rather than the size of anything else, that appealed to that slapper!..
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/8178373 Defoe confirming he's fit to play tomorrow and talking about the mutiny at Spurs
I fear that Chelsea's unbelievable luck will hold out for a while to come yet. I consider them to be in a totally false position due to their luck rather than skill. Now that that's out of the way and I'm waiting for the response from Chavs I'm hoping that we go ahead tomorrow. I'd rather protect a 1-0 lead against Chelsea than have to pull one back. They have shown frail signs here and there so far this season like Norwich going ahead at the Bridge and nearly scoring a couple more and we are better than Norwich. AVB should not have rubbished Chelsea's CL win because words like that are often thrown back in people's faces,he should just shut up because unless he's totally confident he'll leave himself and us open to ridicule if we lose. Balls to the Terry affair. Let's just get on with the football tomorrow.
Feltz? Nah, she likes black guys and Terry clearly doesn't. We'll have to disagree about both, as Ramires was going well, well wide. Your goal in that game also came from a free-kick which shouldn't have been given, as Modric clearly won the ball and Cole handled in the build up. You were being completely outplayed at the time, too.
I don't think Chelsea are in a false position, I fancied them City and Utd to be the top 3 this season, and still do. Wouldn't like to predict the order, but Chelsea are definitely one of the current elite 3, so them being top is very predictable to me. They have fantastic quality and strength all over the pitch, and on the bench too usually. I read on Twitter from someone 'ITK' which probably doesn't mean anything, that strong shouts are in for Lloris and Ade to start, this will certainly give us a massive boost IF true and a a great chance of beating the Blues. Despite AVB's reassurances I still wonder if Dempsey can have properly got over all the travelling he's done recently. I'd love to see him start, but maybe Siggy or JD would a better option. Big calls to make for AVB on this game. Interestingly the Guardian thinks Lampard will start instead of Ramires, I find that hard to believe, but what a boost that would be to us if true. All IMHO of course.
I thought Gomes took out Drogba, or are we talking about different occasions? Eitherway it was never a red card. I'd forgotten about that freekick but remembered it as soon as you said. To be fair, even though I wasn't happy at the time, Cole's goal had a good case for standing, there was no intent in it. I do wish the FA would clarify the rules though, some refs give any old handball, some if the opposition's move breaks down because of it and some only if it is avoidable like the actual rules suggest.
in addition GH10, I've just seen this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJqqoeQjn38&feature=plcp Dunno if anyone else has. apologies if I'm way off the pace here and this has already been pointed out, but it appears that Naughton is available for selection too , which obviously gives us other options. (although his ankle is a little sore apparently). Nice to see him back. Lampard usually has a good game against us, so i don't know if that's necessarily a good thing!!
