Fully agreed on the academy comment, how many clubs have been burnt by losing 15/16 year old players to big premier league teams for utter peanuts, only for very few of those players to actually make it through the system? The smaller teams have no financial incentive to develop their own players, as soon as they do develop a half decent one, they'r egone a few months later for an insulting fee
Worth mentioning it that the season ticket prices weren't a accurate reflection of prices in the division due to City's being quoted being the cheapest for a new buyer but other pubs quoted the cheapest for existing renewals, which if that had been done would have made it different. City's fault in a way but still not a true comparison. Also it should benoted, despite the constant moaning that as far as cheaper tickets for pay on the day go only 3 clubs are less than ours, the often quoted figure of £30 only applying to the West Stand for some games and £20 being the cheapest for others, with very good prices for kids. Not that it will make a lot of difference, people like to moan in Hull and will moan about City even if they never actually go.
