Anybody heard if Whitts is in the Forest team against us...since his move I've lost touch!

Just found this on their message board!
    We're Finished.
Not got a hope of staying up. We cant score. Players have no skill, passion, desire. They talk a good match that is all. We don't have any ideas going forward. Manager doing his best but has nowt to work with. Thanks must go to the previous chairman for ruining this once great club. God help us all.

Just realised that was written some time ago, board not very active...possibly ended it all by now!

Think he will. Lad's done well since he left apparently. He'll probably score tomorrow.

We'll have to watch him from set pieces and 20/30 yard shots. Wish we had managed to hang on to him.

Forest are a much stronger team than when we beat them at their's last season.

Tomorrow will be a tough game whether Whitts makes their starting line up or not.

Forest fans were on the old 606 site bragging that Whitts was a done deal signing a couple of summers ago.

Whitts then signed a new deal.

Ash - not confusing at all mate - I'll just confirm what the lads have said above.

Forest CEO, one Mr. Mark Arthur, gave an interview on local Nottingham Radio a couple of years back stating that Peter Whittingham had agreed to leave us and sign for them - it was just a formality of paperwork.

We were inundated with Tree visitors telling us that this was "FACT!" and he obviously wanted to join a bigger club destined for success rather than administration with us.

We still aren't sure when he came back, but he's been pretty good since..........<laugh>

I think from memory Mark Arthur also claimed he was about to sign Darren Prately from you about the same time - what a pillock the man is.

Remember it well lads and all the sightings of Whittingham and Pratley in petrol stations and chip shops all over Nottingham. Will pi55 myself if Whittingham does score today.

On a serious note, don't know where else to say it, horrible news about that idiot in a van last night. Sincere and genuine condolences to the lady that lost her life. I hope all the injured parties pull through and that the perpetrator is jailed for life
