King is rumoured to be on the move in order to get more experience - http://hereisthecity.com/2012/10/17/joshua-king-the-norway-international-and-manchester-uniteds-e/? It'd be good to see him back in black and amber.
Isn't the whole point of a loan, so that the player will get time on the pitch? If he is just going to sit on the bench, he might as well stay at Man Utd- they probably have nicer benches.
Apart from Prozzy King fought his way into the team last season which included all of those players. It's all about form.
What utter rubbish. ^^^^ First of all he was not a Nick Barmby signing. He only came on a short-term loan. 2nd. What Steve Bruce wants Steve Bruce will get. The question that needs to be asked though is When SAF will let his kids go out on loan. 1st November (assuming that MU go out of the coc to Chelsea on the 31st) or during January ? Alot could well hinge on what happens to Matty Fryatt next week ? IMO, SB knows who he wants already.
Son Alex is living proof for starters. In saying that Bruce jnr is playing well overall. imo, IF SB wants Josh King he will get Josh King, regardless of the NB link.
Would love him back, the sheer pace he brings would make us a very frightening prospect on the counter, but I'm not sure he scores enough goals to replace Simpson or Aluko at the minute so I can't see it happening.
If we dont sign Josh King it wont be because of the Allams/Barmby link it will be because Steve Bruce can get better. That is a totally different situation to what you originally posted. From what ive seen and read of Josh King this season though i am now only 50/50 as to whether he would improve us. If we are looking to replace Fryatt then we need to look above King, imo.
My point was, that I don't think Bruce has any interest in King, I suspect he doesn't even know who he is. Add to that the fact that the previous manager brought him in and his record reads one goal in eighteen appearances and I think the chances of Bruce wanting him, are about as likely as a new children's charity calling themselves The Savile Trust.
Now that is a far more interesting way of putting it and yes you could be right. But imo i would be very surprised if Steve Bruce was not aware of Josh King. It appears that now Eddie Howe has left Burnley we may also see the return of Cammy Stewart soon. I suspect Steve Bruce already has his targets hence his meeting with the Allams next week. I would love to see the meeting agenda for starters.
Don't want him back, he's fast as **** but has the technical ability of a chimp with an assault rifle. We can do and already have better.
