From what was said earlier in the week, sounds like Colo, Saylor, Krul and Simpson will all be back for this one.

I'm not a Simpson fan tbh, but we have nobody better than him and due to that he's a big miss when not playing. Just wish he offered more of an attacking threat.

So do I, Simpson and Williamson are adequate cover and you need your most important players against the big teams or for local derbies.

Must be hard being a mackem as being so far behind the times, they only have black and white TVs - a constant reminder of their bigger, greater neighbours.

Think it would be a nice touch by the fans after what the U21's went through this week.

Will any of the lad's and lasses on here going this weekend (yeah i know you are Tash) and will you be giving Rose a round of applause?

 

2 assists already this season in his limited appearances. He looks to have made progress in what little we've seen.

We miss massively defensively because he is just a very good defender. I think its a case of "you don't know what you've got till its gone", we defend better with him in the team. He'll stop it with his face if required, like Saylor, and you need that. If we can get Simpson, Saylor, Krul and Colo back in for the mackems it will be huge.

 

Bollocks to that. If they want us and the club to show some form of support at any other time, no problem. But it is not realistic to expect our fans to give two ****s about him on derby day when he is in red and white. What happened to him was a disgrace but the only people who can rectify that situation is UEFA. I'm sure they won't be applauding Shola after he was racially abused on a social networking site.

Our fans will be concentrated on one thing only, helping the lads stuff those mackems.
