Chester and Dudgeon are okay to play.

    Bruce out.

Koren out until at Brizzle City away at the earliest.

Fryatt will find out on Monday if he needs an operation, or not.

I had almost forgotten we had a football team to support with these infernal international breaks.

I know Koren's not been at his best recently, but he's still a big loss in terms of creativity. I suppose the three centre mids will be Evans Oli and Quinn. Or Mckenna Oli and Quinn.

I think Evans will miss out in midfield -he ran his socks off for the Irish the other night anyway - question is does Mclean get a start....and who for?

Surely McKenna won't be dropped after coming in and steadying the ship against Wednesday?

    Amos
    Elmohamady Chester Faye Cooper Dudgeon
    Oli McKenna Quinn
    Aluko Simpson

I like the 5-3-2, particularly at home so I'd like to see us go back to it.

Cooper isn't going to play as we know already, so replace him with McShane if you want.

Is my midfield a bit too defensive with only Quinn really capable of causing their defence problems? Maybe.

No less so than having Evans in there.
And with Cairney out, there are no other options.

    Still, I prefer 4-4-2:

    Amos
    Rosie Chester Faye Dudgeon
    Elmo McKenna Oli Quinn
    Aluko Simpson

Dropping Cooper/McShane for Rosenior isn't what I'd call suicidal.

Jakupovic, Dawson, Evans, McLean, McShane, Devitt, Proschwitz

I can see Proschwitz getting a start. Don't know why, I can just feel It coming. Which being the case I suspect the whole shape of the team will alter as will various other personel.

    ie

    Amos
    Elmo Chester Faye Dudgeon
    Aluko McShane Oli Quinn
    Proschwitz Simpson

    Just kidding!!!! McKenna not McShane.

Would like to make a prediction, but after the Peterboro match I don't think I'll bother. <doh>

Haha the thought of it. To be honest I'm hoping Prozzy doesn't start because we might be on the backfoot with him from the start not having scored a goal this season but I guess he will have to make a reappearance soon, viel Gluck herr Proschwitz!

With it being at home and Chester and Dudge back I can see him going 3- 5- 2 again. I could see Aluko playing Koren's role instead and Proswitchz or Mclean being the target man with simpson off him. Mckenna and Oli were doing too similar a job in the 442 against the wendies and the midfield didn't have enough creativity.

    So
    Amos
    Elmo Faye Chester Mcshane Dudge
    Oli Quinn
    Aluko
    Simpson Prossy

    or

    Amos
    Elmo Faye Chester Mcshane Dudge
    Oli Quinn
    Aluko
    Simpson Mclean

I'd have thought Proschwitz would do well with both Aluko and Simpson able to give him creativity. Thing is, he likes to pick the ball up near the halfway line and run with it, whereas in the English game you don't really get an opportunity to do that unless you're Sone Aluko.

true, I fear he's been bought as a target man when in fact it's not really his game (looking at youtube vids..)

    Amos

    Rosenior Chester Faye Dudgeon

    Quinn McKenna Olofinjana Elmohamady

    Aluko

    Simpson

    ---------------
Not true Oli & McKenna do the same job, Oli is more of a playmaker, Evans is more like McKenna in my book, well done to the lad vs Portugal won't do his City chances any harm having snuffed out the likes of Nani, Ronaldo & Moutinho the Championship should be a piece of piss for him now..
