Unfortunately he was a fav player long after i was a nipper. It is hard to belief that oaf Sandie Jardine was ever picked ahead of Danny but that was Scottish football and that is Scottish football. This season we even had a player from the Scottish fourth tier picked to play for the National Side
The term "Legend" is often overused, but when it comes to my favourite Celtic player of all time I think it is somewhat inadequate.
Danny McGrain is by far my favourite Celtic player. He is the first player I think I got to watch all through his playing career. Maybe I was a bit too young to appreciate him breaking into the first team - I would have been about five! Strangely, the news he is a first team coach makes me really happy for him.
He played in a Celtic allstars match vs Liverpool a few years ago and was ****ing awesome... Forget coaching, make him back up for Izzy
I was gonna say that ....... .......though you may have taken it too far mocking the mentally disadvantaged in such an insensitive way
