People who have pre-ordered with retailers get the beta version this week, the demo is a week before the release date of 2nd November.
I played a networked game with a few friends for several seasons, and the one who dominated used a very narrow formation with ultra-short passing, which took pace completely out of the equation for his attacking players (his defenders were actually quite fast; they had to be, given that my team consisted of a bunch of sprinters). One of his strikers had 9 pace, making him the slowest player at any position in the Prem, and he was pretty dominant.
So if you pre ordered the game from Steam then can you play from midnight tonight like on release day?
Not necessarily, as there is no set time for the beta to be released, could be at midnight, could not even be tomorrow! Miles Jacobson said even the SI staff won't know until an hour beforehand.

From this point on, I expect this thread to remain on the first page until this time next year, and I fancy maybe even Hoadie will show up again. I'm preparing myself for a flood of screenshots.
If you've preordered through steam, just go into your library, click on FM 13 pre order, then click install.
Almost time for me to be able to make my opinions on whether a player is good or not! (say most people)
