I've been keeping a close eye on their opinions of Pelts.

At first they played him at CB and they thought he was some sort of demi-god. Now they've realised he's a waste of space.

No worries about the mistaken identity but doesn't mean you need to be a dick because you got it wrong

Im not acting like you care what I think, its the words in bold that annoy me because your talking as if you are a higher being and we're idiots because we can't realise something. Just accept that he was terrible for us, I don't particularly care too much how he has done for you when it comes to this argument

We were to an extent forced to sell but it was only because we didn't want to offer the same contract that he already had. But he wasn't one of our best players. I actually preferred Lonergan to Kenny anyway. The reason we replaced Lonergan is because he wanted to move closer to where his daughter was getting treatment as she's sick.

You are right, it is open to debate and I put forward that there is around 5 or 6 keepers who are better than Schmeichel and a few who are around the same level

I wouldn't argue that, think Kasper rides his fathers reputation hugely

Peltier is doing alright but I think he was wrongfully given the captaincy. Currently an 18 year old kid is our first choice RB and we are just moving the team around to try and fit Peltier in where we can

I've never said he was a demi-god (I can't really re-call anyone saying it to be honest). He only filled in at CB for one or two games for Tom Lees. Byram has taken his chance at RB very well and Peltier is currently playing at LB, he's struggling to make the team to be honest but only because other players are doing so well.

I think he is a solid player who's good in the air, nothing to rave about but he hasn't made any major mistakes that I can think of

2 clean sheets and 16 goals conceded? Yeah, must be playing superb.

Over the last 4 or 5 games we have been doing well (unbeaten in 5 and won 4 of those including Everton). We are trying to keep that team unchanged, its no coincidence that we had a fair few injuries while we went through that bad run of form but now we have our team set those injured players haven't just walked back into the team as they can't get back in the team. And a lot of those goals have been conceded because our strikers and midfielders can't keep hold of the ball and causing constant pressure onto the defence rather than silly mistakes

Are you about to be very simple minded in saying that a defence cannot play well if it concedes?

de Laet is **** but Peltier isn't much better but then again you haven't seen him much have you?

anyone that takes a foul throw in professional football automatically gets the term **** used about them

Lonergan only left Leeds because of personal problems, He had to travel everyday to Preston to get his daughter medical care cos shes ill, hence the move to Bolton

He's ok, I've seen 4 or 5 games so far this season and listened to rest on radio bar one or two. I have seen him do a foul throw-in which was embarrassing. I haven't seen De Laet though so have no idea about him. Byram has taken pelts spot in the team anyway

Neither of them are actually very good imho - prefer Moore at RB as he is a actual defender rather then wing backs like De Laet and Peltier are.

BTW Would say that De Laet is a better defender then Peltier but Peltier is a better attacker and I have no clue why he is your captain - you talk about Kasper throwing a strop, look at him when he blames everyone else for his mistakes.

De Laet is miles better at attacking then Pelts. De Laet knows how to use his pace while Pelts don't

If you measure it in terms of selling him under his true value or that you have allowed him to leave before he has met his potential, then you HAVE made a mistake. It's undeniable. You have admitted in this thread that the's worth at least £2m (which, by the way, is a huge amount for what you claim to be an average second tier keeper) so you have already let at least £1m slip through you fingers, which is a mistake.

Regarding Longeran leaving, do you really think he really only left Leeds for Bolton for the reasons you claim? Or because they've just come down from the Prem and are a Hell of a lot more likely to go up than you are?

Well when we brought Kasper Sven was in charge. Leeds could easily of got about 2.5M out of us.

We have put a 5M price tag on Kasper's head so all ready Leeds look a bit stupid
