You (Liverpool Football Club Ltd.) owed money to banks, agents, etc, etc. He (John Henry) can give you a LOAN - see that key word? here's a simple definition: the temporary provision of money (usually at interest) - that makes sure you're safe and sound whilst he's your owner. Thus meaning the club owes nothing until he leaves, meaning he's safe to try and make money from you. Then when he leaves, he can say I want my money. He'll probably have some fondness of you and won't push you to breaking point by asking for it all back at once but he'll probably ask for chunks that will mean you have to reduce spending a fair bit.

 

To be fair to Tash, I also think it's a ridiculous statement and I'm fairly sure if you offered every other club/fan in the Premiership the choice between Lucas or Tiote, the majority would plumb for Chiek...

Tiote has a has an amazing season by anyone's standards, where as (in my opinion) Lucas has had a great season by his own standards...It's like not being able to hold in a fart in front of the girlfriends family, letting it go and then realising it was quieter and less pungent than you feared - 'pool fans have been pleasantly surprised by Lucas!

 

Out of interest...Do any Liverpool fans know if the payment of the debts (and subsequent loaning of money from Henry to the club) is interest free?

 

Lets just say neither of us are ever likely to win the Premier League so we're not the different really. And chances are that like us, Liverpool won't be playing in Europe next year. And next season, both of our realistic aim is a EUROPA spot and the Carling Cup. So Liverpool, you're not different to us.

Barton is an excellent player and i think he's played better than Gerrard this season, but i doubt Barton would get a first 11 spot in Liverpool if Gerrard hits form again.

Barton is better off here being a legend.

 

Agreed. Would be amusing to see how all Liverpool's fans opinions of Barton instantly changed if he signed for them - not that he will. And he'd probably magically get an England call-up aswell.

He excels here because he's vital to our team, and he knows it.

This article is fantastic, us deluded? Thinking you're still a major force within English football is delusion at its best!! The only two liverpool players I'd want are Suarez or Reina

Hate to play devils advocate here because I cant stand 75% of Liverpool fans but if Liverpool are ready to invest money into the team in the transfer window I could see them challenging for champs league again next season. Sorry lads.
