We were bad, very bad. Poor team selection, poor tactics and poor subs.

Poor display, can play better. Poland are one of many mid-tier teams who are not going to be a walkover for any side, the important thing is not to lose to them away and to beat them at home. Still on course to qualify but would have looked a whole lot better if we hadn't slipped up at home to Ukraine.

I can't see it, Germany will win your group with ease and Sweden will be too good for you. You never know, you have had a fair bit of luck in the past such as that last minute win in Kazakhstan.

Your second team may stand a better chance.

The Swedes touched for a 2-1 win in the Faroes in injury time then pulled a cracking come back against the Krauts. Maybe the luck has wafted across to them.

Home against them early next year, a biggee.

I think Woy is doing well btw.

Didn't know that about Sweden v Faroes, what's the population there, 50k? ...checks wiki...yup 50k give or take. Teams like Scotland and ROI with 100 times the population should be brushing them aside with ease (which you just did I know).

Hmm. So does that mean the World Cup Final will more than likely be contested by China and India?

If they took up the sport to the same extent as Europe and South America, probably yes. Give it about 50 years.
