Sticking with the original article; Ngog would score a **** lot of goals for you. Truly. Many people misjudge him and say he's ****, but the fact is when he was playing under Hodgson he got a decent amount of goals as a lone striker with absolutely no service as he made everyone very defensive. Not to mention he's still young and has plenty of time to improve.

Joe cole also hasn't had a very good season, but I think that's mainly due to:
A, Fitness - He's currently undergoing a fitness program to regain some fitness.
B, Hodgson - Who just refused to play him sometimes.

So I think Cole would also fit in with your setup and add some much needed skill and style to your play.

I think Cole + Ngog + 7mil for Enrique would be a fair deal for everyone.

The point he, bizzarrely made, was that we were a feeder club to the premier league top 4, which doesn't make any sense as we've only sold those two players to any top 4 clubs in the past 10 years.

Tbh, it's no surprise were interested in Enrique seeing as he's had a good season so far, and he's only got an year left on his contract meaning we could get him quite cheaply. There is no interest in Barton though, it's all part of the contract negotiations, he wants more money than the board are currently offering him, so his group/agency are leaking out stories of us being interested in him to force your board's hand. The only reason it's us being linked with him is because we tick all the boxes. We need someone with a good delivery to supply Carroll, we need a right winger, we're in his hometown and we've been scouting Enrique and Carroll at Newcastle so the papers could easily claim that our scouts were there to watch Barton or some such nonsense.

Actually, that is wrong, it's the length of the contract. From the beginning he's agreed a wage cut, but we were only offering 3 years when he wanted 5.

It's the same thing really, he wants a bigger/better contract, there's not much difference here. I take it you agree with me that there is no actual interest in Barton on Liveprool's part.
