http://hereisthecity.com/2012/10/15/bendtners-dig-at-soft-arsenal-training/? cant wait till hes gone. Irrespective of what he can offer his attitude stinks!
Don't see a problem with his comments, can't see him slagging us off in any way. He's just saying that the training regime at Juve is harder, which could be possibly true. Especially with the likes of Vidal or Chiellini around That 'dig' is completely made up by the author to generate a few clicks, shows by bringing in the quote from Tacchinardi which is nearly 2 months old and that infamous "I deserve the £50,000, because I can't go skiing"-interview.
He's always annoyed me as he can be a decent player, but can have bouts of madness and when he's off form he's awful, with shocking control and poor finishing. He also seems like the sort of player who thinks he's better than he is and can cause problems in the dressing room. I'm not at all bothered that he's gone as we have much better attackers in the squad. He's not bad, and for a mid table club could be awesome. But I do laugh that a few seasons ago a few Arsenal fans I knew though he was better than Adebayour and would be a bigger loss to the squad (at that time Ade had just scored 25 or so in a season).
Sure but you have Merson as your Avatar. I have no idea how that guy has made a career for himself as a Pundit. He is literally the stupidest man on television. I remember watching Sky Sports news a couple of weeks ago. They were talking about 6 teams that may struggle this Season. Mersons said 5 of them are going down. Not might go down. ARE going down. FIVE OF OUT OF 6 TEAMS?!!
Bendtner is rather similar to Frimpong. They both have talent, but when they aren't playing they have a habit of saying things that give the press a chance to make them look like idiots. They are both still young and could still be very good, but at this point, hard-work and silence would be a good strategy for them.
I know what you mean, but Frimpong is 4 years younger than Bendtner and has only had a little bit of 1st team action. Bendtner has been in the 1st team for 3 seasons and never really kicked on or shown he's really up to a 1st team/match day squad place, but still seems to come out with these comments.
Bendtner has shown far more than Fimpong. His goalscoring (goals per minute) rate was better than Van Persie's for years. Internationally, when playing in a system that suits him, he has been good. If he was playing for a german side, our fans would probably be suggesting that we pay 30M for him.
