WATFORD FC v PETERBOROUGH UTD Welcome back after the international break. Watford FC welcome Peterborough Utd to Vicarage Road for this Saturday's Championship league fixture. Peterborough Utd haven't had the best results so far this season. In fact, after ten games they are sitting rock bottom of the table on 6 points. However, all their points have come on their travels and some reports mention that they fancy their chances for a third consecutive away win. Watford, with a new squad showing some promise, sit 14th in the table. There are some still coming back from injury but these are more long-term problems. Watford were beaten in their last home game by Middlesborough and personally I still feel we are work in progress. Watford must fancy their chances at home to bottom of the table, but we all know it is hard to predict what will happen. Zola, after the Middlesborough game: "Unfortunately in four days we had two games and in both games we end up with 10 players, and I don't think we deserve that and especially today because my team was playing very good football and created a lot of chances." Darren Ferguson, after their defeat to Nottingham Forest: "Losing that game is a really hard one to swallow because there is no doubt in my mind we deserved something out of it." ENJOY THE GAME
i think we will have a tough game on Saturday, Posh have found their form and we had the defeat against Middlesborough to knock confidence, despite the red card being rescinded. I have a friend from Peterborough coming to the game and he feels they have to get their own back after what he still calls a dodgy penalty last season! I think though, that we will have worked hard during the International break, and that we will romp home with a 3-1 win
Given the size of our squad, perhaps GZ could dress them all as candles and create a human birthday cake for you in the centre circle. A premature Happy Birthday by the way.
I am really looking forward to this one. It always drags by when there is an international break. I long to be back at the vic!!!! I think we will win this, and it could be the game where we finally see us tear a team apart.

Well tomorrow I will get a ticket for myself and make it my first game of the season A big win for us 4-0 to the Golden Boys on families day I hate these games!

This should also be my first game of the season, but I wonder how many times the anticipation of a good win ends up being an unexpected bad result.
