After what that lad went through last night in Serbia I hope that everyone in the ground on Sunday give him the massive support he deserves.

No one should have to go through the vile racist abuse that he went through last night. Not in this day and age, not ever.

So whether you are Red and White or Black and White. Get behind him and show him that when he wears the England shirt he does himself and everyone else proud.

    Haway the Lads!

High time Serbia were banned mind.

The incident in Italy was bad enough individually, never mind what's gone on before & since.

    They are a ****ing disgrace.

Not the most sensible thing to do kicking the ball into the crowd but it's understandable given the level and nature of the abuse.

I'm sure he has the support of the whole nation on this one and I'm sure he'll get an extra big cheer when his name's read out on the weekend too.

I don't think he kicked it into crowd deliberately, he just hoofed it, but the footage throughout clearly shows England players under bombardment, when Whickham is celebrating, 5 or 6 items at least are clearly visible.

It's all bullshit, do these alleged football fans even know the colour of Pele, Henry, Eusebio and hundreds more of the games greats?

They are scum, and this wasn't a few, it was a huge percentage, throughout.

He seems to be saying it wasn't aimed at the crowd either and that it was just kicked in frustration. He should've known where it'd go though and that it would only make matters worse though.

I was at our game against Lazio this season when the Lazio fans monkey chanted. It was nowhere near as bad as Serbia from the sound of things but it's astounding that these things still go on. UEFA and FIFA need to look at their punishements and the speed of their reactions to such incidents urgently. No player should be subject to that kind of abuse and the governing bodies need to show they're on their side and take real steps to protect them.

That's not even touching on the behaviour of a large amount of Serbian players and staff that got involved. Utterly disgraceful.

Spot on mate, the fitness coach trying to drag people out of the tunnel back onto the pitch? What the ****?

FIFA won't act, and one of the reasons is in your post, if they ban Serbia, they then have to move on their 2 darlings Spain & Italy, and that will NEVER happen.

    Serbia should be banned IMO.

Can anybody see Blatter acting tough over this ? I can't I'm afraid. And that means the racists get off scot free to shame their nation another time.

Rose should never have been subject to the abuse he got. As a minority myself, I have been incredibly fortunate to have never found myself the target of any abuse however I can understand his feelings. He is a young lad, with a lot going for him. These Serbs are just backward animals who deserve the book thrown at them.

I am sure Blatter will think a handshake should suffice though.

The game that YV mentions at White Hart Lane was actually attended by Platini, too.
Both Lazio and Serbia have a history of this sort of vile behaviour, yet they'll probably get minor punishments, which are absolutely no deterrent.

Good luck with showing your support for Rose on the weekend. <applause>
I hope somebody with a bit of clout pays attention.

The Serbian FA have just denied that there was any abuse and criticised Rose's behaviour towards their fans <doh>

Maybe they have not evolved as human beings yet ( the Serbia supporters), and they are still back in the dark days. It is about time some other nations got a ban, like ours in 1985-90.And i would like Danny to get a great reception on sunday.

Think someone said the last fine the Serbian FA received for a racism offence was for about £16000 - Man City received a £31,000 fine for coming out 1 minute late for the second half of a European game recently - because that is much more serious than calling someone a racist name!!!

Wonder what the Serbian FA would say (and Blatter) if English fans started singing some Anti-Serbian song - Blatter would porbably have us banned for the comments

Serbian FA: Danny Rose behaved in an inappropriate, unsportsmanlike and vulgar manner.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment of our players and officials, Rose being a full back got the majority of it. Not holding my breath on UEFA and not exactly shocked they have already begun the mitigation process by charging our FA. Rose could have been done for the ball kicking incident (alhough understandable you can't really do it), fair enough, but I watched the game and the majority of our officials and players were actually just trying to protect others and seperate people. Ridiculous.

But as for Sunday he'll get **** all support from us once he's in red and white!
