Lees got straight in there defending him though, now thats exactly the fighting spirit you want from a centre back whats the worst that was going to happen anyway? Another broken nose? Lees eats them for breakfast <ok>

Do you think those two go back? Both being Yorkshire lads and all.....

The Serbians are a disgrace, should be banned. Doubtless though England will receive an even bigger fine for the reaction. Great to see Lees defending Rose who looked absolutely distraught, can't imagine he'll have come across much of that in Leeds/London.

As I understand it GFH's financial issues have nothing to do with GFH Capital (please correct me if I'm wrong) and I believe Haigh has tried to point this out a few times.

I know exactly what you mean. Remember when we had Paul Robinson on loan last season. Two games in, he made THAT crunching tackle. Was cheered every time he touched the ball after that...

I’m not interested in scaremongering, but there are serious problems at Leeds that need to be addressed quickly.

Over the last few months Leeds fans have gone from daring to dream about oil rich billionaires to having nightmares about cash strapped banks. Throughout this time, one concern has been bubbling under the surface which is being slowly considered by more and more of the fan base. Administration.

Administration would be a disaster for Leeds at any point of the season, but the clubs finances and actions suggest that the last few months of the current campaign are going to be a massive struggle.

Many people simply look at the fact that we are debt free and assume that administration is impossibility, but just how debt free are we?

After all, we effectively took a loan out on the future sales of season tickets. We were told by Bates 12 months before being placed into administration that he had shrunk our debt to under £10 million, only for it to be revealed that the debt was actually in excess of £35 million. Finally, consider how Ken left Chelsea with around £20 million of hidden debt, and even the most neutral fans must start to wonder.

Not only that, but where have these ‘debt free’ claims come from? Who has actually told us that it is a fact that we are free of debt?

    Ken Bates.

And whilst the majority of fans are happy to label him as a liar and a cheat, they seem accepting of this statement as being the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Even if the club are debt free, what money do we actually have? As the recent financial reports show that we have once again only avoided making a loss because of player sales.

The summer proved that the club have no money to spend, Warnock had to wheel and deal to make sure he could bring players in and you have to admire the job he did considering the circumstances, but what good will that prove to be if the club plunge into administration by the end of the season?

Falling attendances, dwindling interest and a fan base devoid of hope. Three ingredients that will only serve to cause further problems for the club financially.

The fans have spent the last few months willing the takeover by GFH Capital to be completed with the promise of investment that will ensure our return to the Premier League, though the recent reports that have surrounded the finances of GFH make those promises seem worryingly hard to fulfill GFH seem to have little financial clout on their own, we can only hope that they have wealthy financial backers ready to plough money into the club.

Either way, Bates will leave. Leeds entering administration would be his 3rd strike, and he would no longer pass the Football Leagues ‘fit and proper persons test’.

How he passed it in the first place is anyone’s guess.

When will all this shyte end because I'm sick of it and for the last 8-years bates has done nothing but bring controversy to the club

He might have brought controversy to the club DOC, but he's also brought some stability. A few years ago, we weree in such a mess financially that we couldn't even afford to hang on to Arron Lennon. He was 17/18 at the time & increases in payments due after a certain amount of performances meant he ended up going to Spurs. So whilst the situation regarding the T/O is a long way short of ideal, we are still in a forward looking position rather than considering our short term future & where we might be playing.

We may not like the way he's run the club. But thanks to him, we are in a far better position now than we were.

Doc....everyones fed up with it, if i have a bad day out here and get in a mood, i get quoted to me "the deal must be off again hahaha" i am totally fed up with all of it, Bates has taken the piss for too long, LUST????? well least said the better, dont even read their Forum anymore.

Platini( Blatters little puppet) will find a way to punish England for the Serbs antics one way or another, the jam rolls did not close the roof, that will be our fault as well, UEFA are as bad as FIFA when it comes to England or any English team, only good thing is that it is on here live at 6pm.

The best one UAEFA came up with was to fine man City last season, for being one minute late onto the pitch, but only fined Porto a fraction of the City fine, and their fans were racially abusing Balotelli all through the match. So I expect Serbia to get a slap on the wrist, and England fined a lot more. What will they fine Poland as they caused a huge farce and would bet it will be nothing compared to Hodgson who will get done for trying to kick a ball on the pitch, and an England fan for doing a Tom Daley

Exactly Doc, still waiting for the news to break out here for the 2022, as that corrupt Blatter will change it to winter....no other choice, BUT the best one is Qatar had a match a while ago against Egypt, and we got caught in the traffic leaving the match and it took us 1.15mins to get passed the stadium, absolute fcuking chaos, only thing i am greatfull of is i shall not be here when they stage it.....thank fcuk

I still can't believe there are Leeds fans that believe this, Bates has bled Money, fans, energy and life out of the club he has not offered anything!

Other parties would have bought leeds if it wasn't for the admin refusing to wipe debts if anyone else bought us!

far too many people will believe anything and will always see the good side of things. Hes a **** there is no good side and he needs to **** off out of the club, Leeds United could have folded set up as another company in the lower leagues and we would be in a better situation now.
