That's like being made to choose whether it's the mafia, the camorra or the ndrangheta who do your protection racket for you. Land you rightfully own is still immorally raided by the uniformed bastards, whether you like in Tingley or Timbuktu.

Really? What about the bloke who got arrested for wearing an anti-Police T-shirt the other day? What about people on Twitter getting lifted for making jokes deemed 'offensive' by the prudish Priscillas of this world? I've had run-ins with the pigs, and trust me, they have no interests of upholding free speech whatsoever, and I've received threats off the bastards for simply speaking my mind. I didn't threaten to blow anywhere up, for what it's worth, I whistled mockingly. Gloriously free my arse.

Hayek lost faith in the state in the end, did he not. They may have been argumentative, and their arguments were right ultimately, as the boom and bust cycle caused by government meddling continues to prove, which also creates unfair working conditions, poor business startup rates, and corporate cronyism.

Well... you seem to be making my arguments against the government for me.

Has your form of non-government worked anywhere, any time?

Whenever people are freer, they are more productive. I can cite historical instances if necessary.

Not that I'm concerned with pragmatic practicalities - I'm all about the ethics, bro.

As they say about capitalism - yeah it sucks but show us somethng better.

True, don't worry about practicalities. Always easier to be in opposition than in power, can just be critical and not have to do anything. <ok>

I like capitalism. It implies the free movement of people and goods, and that's certainly not reflective of the current status quo, because governments suppress those things to create artificial, oppressive barriers in various walks of life. This is state-managed corporatism, or crony capitalism. The 'too big to fail' era. Not truly deserving of the name.

Of course practicalities must be considered in a revolutionary movement, but the principles of morality ALWAYS come number one. Those who live without principles are mere animals, and would trade off their own grandmother if they deemed it beneficial on the utilitarian calculus.

It's so easy to be critical, because the ruling class are so worthy of criticism.

But of course if the banks had been allowed to fail all of us would be in the ****. Unfortunately I don't think there's such a thing as a perfect system of government.

Pretty much nothing in life on this planet is perfect, unless one considers Millwall FC a perfect **** up! (Just for TC and Migty!) <ok>

A situation which is the fault of the government for fixing interest rates which caused the recession in the first place.

Exactly why there should be no universal systems of government.
