Decent start to the game in the 2nd leg with chances at both ends. Currently 0-0 after 30 minutes, but Caulker and Danny Rose have both picked up silly yellow cards. Adam Smith also starting the game with Andros Townsend on the bench.

Now Adam Smith has been yellow carded. Not good to have 3 of your back 4 on yellow cards. Still 0-0 after 7 minutes of 2nd half.

Unfortunately the end of the game was football at its darkest. Danny Rose sent off after the final whistle for reacting to racial abuse and many players and officials involved in a mass brawl. Disgraceful scenes. England won 1-0 with a goal in the 94th minute.

  6. This has to be looked at by FIFA.

The BBC report of it sounds horrendous.
Serbian players and staff piling in because Rose was reacting to fans racially abusing him?

Steve Wigley, Pearce's number 2, was being manhandled/assaulted by the Serbian subs and Rose was clearly very very upset and angry. I can't recall the last time I felt so shocked by such odious behaviour.

Don't worry SC, I'm sure a £20k fine is on it's way from FIFA as we post. That'll sort it.

To be fair to a them, a number of the Serbian players appeared to be trying to act as peacemakers, despite the poor behaviour of a number of their fellow countrymen.
    Shambles.

BBC Sport commentator Alistair Bruce-Ball in Serbia: "As soon as the players were in the tunnel this evening apparently there were issues. The Serbian conditioning coach was apparently jostling and getting his face in England players' faces. Jack Butland, the England goalkeeper, was peppered throughout the game with various objects thrown from the stands. Stuart Pearce had a seat thrown at him. There was a lot going on this evening, then at the end Danny Rose was racially abused."

Pretty terrible. Embarrassing for Serbia. Fair play to Rose, ignored the ref and everyone else walking off. Red carded for kicking a ball at racists... rules are rules I guess.

I don't hold much hope in UEFA doing much to punish racism unless it happens to a white French or German player.

Can you imagine what they would do if it was England fans behaving this way!

The minuscule fines have been a joke. They've fined Serbia before (at a level that indicates they don't take this very seriously) and that's clearly made no difference.

Does anyone know if they acted against Juventus for their fans "performance" against us a couple of weeks back?

I'm guessing you mean the Lazio game, and I haven't hear any fines or anything handed out.
