I really have been trying not to get involved but I have to make two points:

1) Why are you (in this hypothetical) saying the only criteria for entry to the Super League is the unquantifiable "size of club" "heritage" etc rubbish you're spouting, compared to current ability and standing?
2) Why are you trying to make it seem like backing up your opinions with research (which you describe as "crap internet copy pastes") is a bad thing? Surely actually having external backing to support your point is a better way to defend yourself than "I know football better than you because I say so" which you rely on?

 

Celtic/Rangers have the support in a poor league that puts most English teams in the shade, it's not rocket science to check the numbers of supporters clubs for both teams in the places i posted to see your mate got his calculations wrong.

Its obvious Mr Nice that if you do not know that Celtic are a bigger club in the World then you need help , I am far from a Celtic fan I really am but this is nothing to with knowledge but more of an understanding of the game , do you dispute that Celtic are bigger than Zenit Worldwide ?

Celtic are probably more popular than Zenit worldwide - but then if you read my post and answered my questions you'd see I ask why that matters? Rangers aren't in the SPL despite being as big as you bleat on about, and why not? Because they don't deserve to be there. As such do they deserve to be in the Super League, despite Zenit being far more successful than them recently?

 

Wait, now you're saying they're bigger than Zenit? The club with a 23.5m fanbase? If Page_Moss_Kopite is correct with his statement, for which I would like to see a source, then all that proves is that they're as popular as Dinamo Moscow. Zenit are not only far more popular, but are probably a better team. Your perception of Celtic being a "bigger" club is from a purely introverted British viewpoint, with no idea of how the rest of the world sees it. In Russia, it's Zenit, CSKA and Spartak who have all the history and the money and would be considered "bigger". And guess what, there's a lot more of them than there are of us.

I back up my statements with facts, because that's how a debate works. I'm yet to see any facts presented by you. Find anything that shows that Celtic have anywhere near 23.5m supporters, and I will salute you. I will come find you and I will lick your shoes.

 

Zenit must have literally almost no world wide fans at all. Don't really see how this is an argument in terms of fans worldwide.

 

Rangers could be on the moon but that wont make any difference , what part of that dont you understand ? Rangers deserving to be in the SPL is another argument and has nothing to do with their size , they would be lifted straight out of Scottish L3 obscurity and into the Super League , understand ?
Zenit having money and them being successful makes no odds , they could not pull in the Worldwide audience , understand Mr Nice ?

 

Because they either know nothing of the history of the game or would belive a ****e quote , I have not decided which one yet .

This is exactly why I was trying not to get involved, you're showing all the skill in argument of a secondary school student. You ignored my questions in a previous post in order to continue bleating on about your own personal criteria of "I assume they're really big and I'm always right therefore they're really big and deserve to be in the super league because they're really big and I say so". How do you expect anybody to have a discussion with you when you ignore any points raised by others to continue with your "I'm right and know more than you and I'm more clever than you what I say wins" mindset?

Just admit you have no validity for your argument (I wont say you lost that is school yard crap) .

 

My validity is in all the facts I posted, what is so hard to understand about that? Find something, anything, online that says Celtic have a fanbase greater than 23 million. The largest number I can find so far is 9 million. Good luck.

 

Fine. I have no validity for my argument - mainly because there is no argument because you ignored the points I was trying to make. I'm not trying to argue who has more fans between Celtic and Zenit because frankly, I don't care. Your Super League would be interesting - the likes of Ian Black and Kevin Kyle squaring up against Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, while Danny and Hulk sit at home watching.

 

The links show that Celtic have a global fanbase you mammary gland.

It shows nothing. As I stated earlier, we have a supporters club in Gambia. It's not a rare thing.

 

You said that in your opinion Celtic do not have more supporters outside of Scotland than in Scotland, the 9 million you found appear to have nullified your argument somewhat.
