It's a public holiday and we know what 606 is like for those. Also every BBC employee is off covering the royal wedding, so no moderators.

 

Oddly your posts don't stay as the number when you posted but all get updated - so you cant look back and say "hmmm I wonder what i said in my 15th post"

jsybaz I read in a book that when the Germans got the people of Jersey to renew the paving of Liberation Square the locals used two colours of stones and produced a big letter V across thesquare that can only be seen from high up. Is that true?

Morning all...or just about afternoon in fact.

Mrs H is busy downstairs watching some old guff on TV so I've settled down upstairs with PC, good book, coffee, view of swallows darting past the window.

Am I missing anything? (It'll be on Match of the Day later anyway)

 

I have just turned on tv.... and there is a lot of commotion going on

 

Swallows have not nested in our stables yet this year - unusual

 

Zen, i couldn't get on last night either, it was playing up.

The walk was good thanks, and just finished watching the wedding...my very disinterested son is now regretting not going up to london, who'd have thunk! lol

 

H - if you did have any interest in the wedding then going up to London would at least have gained the atmosphere - like live football - I miss the Vic so much - even when I get to see the lads on telly it is just not the same.

 

Still 606 wont let me in - they must all be covering the Event

 

i've had to watch on telly occasionally, and maybe it's coz we play so well on the telly, but i ache to be there, always! i feel your pain on that one Leonardo.

 

Sunny here today again - but after 6 hours in the garden yesterday - mostly digging and planting I ache too much to get out there and work a lot today - whoever said that you can get bored when you retire?

 

i can't get into 606 either...i can read the articles but can't sign in...and Leonardo, i got the time wrong...lol..3 hours 46 minutes..not sure where my brain was

 

Great time then - can't believe you did it that quickly after a lay off. Congrats. 606 same for me - you can read but not participate. Shame oz I wanted to put right whtever idiot has scored Ak a One Star.
