So importing guns into Ireland and getting thousands of people to pledge to go to whatever lengths necessary to oppose the democratic will of the people of the UK is not terrorism?

ter·ror·ism   [ter-uh-riz-uhm]
noun
1.
the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.
2.
the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
3.
a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

It looks exactly like terrorism to me Med Dog

So I was out celebrating guns being imported into Northern Ireland?

Again, news to me.

And 471,414 people signing a covenant is now defined as terrorism is it?

You and Nick Griffin and thousands of other bigots were out celebrating the signing of the Ulster Covenant.

"In using all means which may be found necessary to defeat the present conspiracy to set up a Home Rule Parliament in Ireland. And in the event of such a Parliament being forced upon us, we further solemnly and mutually pledge ourselves to refuse to recognize its authority."

"Northern Ireland" did not exist then Med Dog. It was through the terrorism of the people that you were out to celebrate in resisting the democratic will of the people of the UK that this gerrymandered state was formed<ok>.

Unless you can come up with any other explanation for arming yourself to the teeth and then stating that you will resist "using all means which may be found necessary" the democratic will of the people of the 'UK?

I suspect you can't...In fact, I know you can't. So kindly stop pontificating about what should and shouldn't constitute the UK city of culture because you and your fellow bigots care **** all about the democratic will of the UK.

So I was out celebrating gun running from terrorists!?!

I'm guessing you're talking about the guns that came into Northern ireland in 1913/1914.

The centenary 1912 Ulster Covenant Parade was about gun running that occurred in 1913 and beyond.

quite the opposite. If people pledge to undertake any means necessary to resist democracy and then arm themselves to the teeth in order to achieve that end it is wholly apptopriate to call these people terrorists.

You were celebrating terrorists against the People of the UK. There is no other explanation.

Signing a document saying you are going to defend your country does not make you a terrorist. Terrorising people does.
Bit of a difference BillyBhoy.

Armed the teeth a year/2 years before they were armed.

<laugh><ok>

Super fail.

Med Dog is going to hold a Jimmy Savile appreciation night. He is only going to celebrate the stuff that people knew up until last month.

When people start using the <laugh> smiley in every single one of their posts then I'm out of the debate.
