Just been sent this article by a mate of mine - not only can we say we have a world cup winner in Gordon Banks, we have an Olympic Gold medallist! http://www.dmu.ac.uk/a-dmu-summer-o...iley-leicesters-other-goalkeeping-legend.aspx
There isnt many teams in world football with a better history of goalkeepers then us Gordan Banks, Peter Shilton, Mark Wallington Gordan Banks won the World cup while playing for us and Peter Shilton is England's all time top capped player In the last 10 years we have had Ian Walker and Kasper Schmeichel going to Euro's And before Ian Walker we had Tim Flowers
How could we leave Pegguy Arpehxad off that list of great keepers. It's the impossible dream to find highlights of his debut against Chelsea
Is you life this empty that you spend all your time talking about other clubs Supporting Hull must be boring
The year we won the Worthington Cup and won a few shoot outs along the way. Pegguy was immense Great find by Martin. Just a shame for Pegguy that Tim Flowers was here
Pegguy Arphexad - what a legend. Was the best 2nd choice keeper you could ask for - never complained about sitting on the bench and whenever he played in a blue moon he was solid. He won more medals then he had appearances at Liverpool - 6 medals for 2 league and 3 cup appearances!
9) easy ones 1) Banks 2) Shilton 3)Flowers 4) Walker 5) Keller 6) Kalac 7) Rab Douglas 8) Ricardo 9) Kirkland ( loan )
