A lot of gushing went on before hand, but I have to say, I wasn't really all that impressed. At times, I felt that Willy and Kate wanted to be out of the place.
I didn't watch it, I'm afraid, and have managed to avoid nearly all of the build-up (with a few unavoidable exceptions). From the little I've gathered, fair to say, they seem like an okay couple and reasonable enough human beings. To know more about them, however, would simply feel excruciating.
I was in the Army but I served neither Queen nor country. I served myself and my mates. I never joined because of some flag waving jingoism or some misguided ideal of Britannia, simply because I wanted to join. I said I saw a "a bit" of it in passing, the wife had the TV on.
