If a club says a player will be signing in the near future, do you snigger and say 'no they aren't, they can't sign for another club until the next window' or does common sense prevail.

How did I make a mistake?

I didn't suggest he would be moving to Scotland tomorrow or at Christmas but rather he will more than likely be back in Scotland in the near future the summer quite possibly.

I'm just a thick Tim but isn't the ban going to mean no new players until 2014, not September 2013

 

His loan is until January. It is supposedly being cut short.

 

The ban is until the 1st September 2013 which falls on a Sunday.

It has been said but not yet confirmed that the transfer window will be open on the Monday the 2nd to complete deals.

 

Think their ban expires 31/08 and the window doesn't close until 02/09 next year, meaning they could sign players on that last 2 days of the window

 

I'm sure I read that the SFA said it won't be extended
