Well this is not going to end well (the pairing that is). If it is true.

    Buemi probably.

While not entirely surprising, I presume that Ferrari are bringing Vettel in to be groomed by Alonso as his successor.

Could see Webber calling it a day in 2014 as well, so with Vettel going as well I'd like to see something like Kimi/Hulk. That would be interesting.

I don't know how much I really trust Benson, I'll believe it when I see it.

Benson is obviously a Seb hater and wants to make him unstable with the last 4 races to go, what an obvious tool.

Though if it distracts the pressure from the WDC I would welcome it for Seb so he would still focus on the task at hand. Seb wont leave for Ferrari now RBR have shown they can produce the best car eventually and stay there every year.

Seb should ignore Ferrari until that new wind tunnel is made!

    Benson, what a fool.

Where did Benson find this story, in the Sunday Sport? Ferrari have ALWAYS been a single driver team, Alonso won't play second fiddle, and who in their right mind would hire a double (probably soon to be triple) WDC just for them to be back-up? I have a good idea how the BBC can save wasted money.

Said this before, but the boy Vettel doesn't do sentiment, he does, Poles, Fastest Laps, Race Wins, WDCs, Most Laps Lead, Etc..
If Ferrari are the place to be for the above reasons, he'll move there, if RB continue to be the best car, then he ain't moving!

We just need to wait for EJ to confirm it, but it would be great to see though.

The last time they had two top drivers was arguably 1990 with Prost/Mansell and what a mess that ended up being! If both sides of the garage were fighting for the WDC, the internal politics would bring Ferrari to its knees, just like it always used to. Italians don't do democracy!

What are the odds Alonso being replaced by Seb then?

If you can't beat him... buy him and stick him in the second car. ;)

Funny how the wording of Benson's article has changed dramatically since this morning!

    He's not so confident now!

That or RBR/Ferrari threatened to ignore the BBC in the future if they keep on "causing problems".

Even though they were considered by most to be 2 of the top drivers of their day they were most definitley not considered equal by Ferrari, Prost was clearly the number 1, and Mansell the number 2, and was the reason why Mansell went back to Williams. Ferrari aren't equal opportunity employers.

If it happens... I bet Hamilton's regretting not waiting a year, as I believe he would have taken the RBR seat over the Mercedes one.
